Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

...of accidental damage support cost £129 on top of the 4-year package for extended warranty (can't recall what that cost; something like £89? Maybe £100?). Those warranties have already more than paid for themselves. We'll want to replace this laptop in four years, so it's covered from any clutzy mishaps for the entire time we'll be using it. Really, really pleased with this warranty! That said, we had this same warranty on our last Dell Inspirons (we each had one; I'm still using my old one), except it was for three years instead of four, and never once had to file a claim - though we both developed problems in the fourth year with our computers and wished we had the four-year warranty. The warranty is quite pricey if you never have a problem, but it really has come in handy for us this time and means a lot of peace of mind! I'll be getting these...

Useful extender but a bit pricey

...Overview ---------------- I bought this extender to go with my Canon EF 70-200 f4.0L IS lens. It extends the range to 280mm and increases the maximum aperture to 5.6. This means that autofocus on a 20D, 30D, 40D or 5D body will still function properly at any focal length. Construction ------------------ The construction is very solid (all metal) and matches the white EF-L lenses exactly so after a while you don't even notice it attached. You can easily remove the lens combo from a body without accidentally detaching the teleconverter and if your lens has an o-ring seal then no dust or moisture can get into the join between the lens and teleconverter. The Rimmel Volume Extend Mascara gives a Long & Natural look

...The Rimmel Volume Extend Mascara, I bought it for $7, Australian dollars but original price is around $17.95. This is a alright mascara for a everyday one, it does extend the eyelash length but doesn't curl as much as it should. 1 tip I have for applying it is to let the white dry before applying the second colour. It is also hard to take off, clumpy and when I applied the black after the white I could still see the white. Positive things: + Extends Lashes + Medium-Dark colour. Negatives: - Doesn't curl a lot - Clumps - Hard to remove/take off - you can still see white when applied black I would recommend this but only if you're >not< going for the dramatic look (dark), unless you pile it on. thanks for reading, hoped it helped ......

DVD Extended Trilogy of 'Lord of the Rings'

Advantages: The most complete version of the story, J.R.R. Tolkein would be very proud.
Disadvantages: None. It is a masterpiece, a true epic.

...This Trilogy box set is a must for any avid lover of the story of 'Lord of the Rings'. Not only does it include the complete 'Director's Cut' of all three films, but contains a massive amount of behind the scenes extras on the making of the whole complete film. The extended versions give the story a more fluid and comprehensive representation of the original story as written by Tolkein, compared to the original theatrical releases. This is particularly noticeable from the second film onwards as I find the cinema release of 'the Two Towers' a little lacking in detail. This version is extremely long, however, being more than 11 hours in length in total which might put off some potential buyers. The special effects are mindblowing and the music is breathtaking. ...This is an excellent idea and for anyone currently under guarantee try to get an extension, in the long run it will save you a lot of money. I had my computer and it went wrong a few weeks unbelievably after my guarantee went. I was devastated as the retailer suggested that I needed a new hard drive and most of the big components had gone wrong. I had been given my computer as a Birthday present and for two years it was fine but it went wrong and the cost for repairing it was £400 for that I could buy a new Tower with all the bits and bats-hard drive etc. So, instead of having my repairs fixed I decided to buy a new Tower for £260 which is ok as I got a faster modem but if I had extended my warranty my repairs would have been free!!! So, my advice is on any electrical items not just PC’s have all your warranties extended...
