Iomega HDD External Hard Drive 250 GB
Advantages: 250GB capacity, 2 firewire port, 1 usb ports
Disadvantages: alittle bit expensive
...is what on earth is a media centre??? The box seemed a bit small for a TV and DVD player, let alone surround sound, so i decided that putting on my glasses so i could focus on the box was probably a good idea. It turns out a media centre is a rather large USB and firewire hard drive, with a few extras thrown in to make it look special.
What you get is a 250Gb drive, 2 firewire ports, 1 usb port...

Pika 250GB External Hard Drive
Advantages: Very compact, easy to store, very easy to install
Disadvantages: Heavier than you'd think.
...often take the Pika drive with me.
Overall, I can't fault it. You can simply open up the window for the drive in 'My Computer' and drag and drop files into it. All files move quickly whether they're going from the Pika hard drive or to it. Best of all, it provides me with an extra 250GB of much-needed storage....

Omega Iomega I love you
Advantages: HaLoads of storage space
Disadvantages: Annoying blue light
...an early present. I only wanted a 100 GB hard drive but after I had had a browse around I discovered that I could get the Iomega 250 GB external hard drive for the same price.
The hard drive itself is silver and has a clear blue strip across the front. The Iomega logo is clearly embossed on the top and underneath there is four rubber feet. There is also two vents one each side to draw in cool air...
