A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. To give you a brief idea of what I have use it for, I have a large music collection, a large picture collection and movies also. I use it in conjunction with an Acer laptop that runs Microsoft XP and I am currently using up 205gb out of the 500gb available. Produced by Western Digital who are a confirmed producer of storage devices both internal and external, I chose it because of it's confirmed brand and at the time the price was good. Maxtor 3100 external hard disk is getting too old

...The Maxtor Personal Storage 3100 is a line of external hard disks produced by Maxtor but eventually taken over by Seagate (which I suppose ATE Maxtor finally!). The fact that Seagate deals with the former Maxtor products is good because they have a very good customer service. I'm reviewing the 80GB one because it's the one I have in my hands right now. I bought it years ago for a fair price, nowadays I doubt they would even sell you one with so little capacity. The HD inside is an 80GB IDE (also known as P-ATA). Smaller capacity also means a smaller buffer, the 80GB has an 8MB buffer which is quite enough for its 80GB.
