The majority of them are quite happy to have a game for whatever games console they have, but it tends to get a bit tedious buying the same thing repeatedly each year. As it is fast approaching my niece?s birthday, we went out for a browse round the shops recently for some inspiration. Bop It Extreme 2 seemed to jump out on me from the shelves in Woolworths. Shaped similarly to a steering wheel but with no top or bottom to the circle, the device is brightly coloured and has lots of knobs and fiddly bits on it. Advantages: Funny, addictive, hardwearing.
Disadvantages: It is NOISY!

I almost threw it at the wall in frustration!

Advantages: One of the best games ever!
Disadvantages: Highly addictive, will drive you nuts!

...This review is partially a response to a challenge from BadCompany77 who basically told me to lighten up after reviewing some serious stuff. Bop It Extreme 2 is the latest version of a hand held game that has been around for a couple of years. I guarantee that if you originally bought this game for the kids you will end up quietly stealing into their bedrooms to sneak it out for late night bopping sessions. Bop it Extreme must be worse than crack cocaine, one hit and you are totally and irretrievably addicted. Forget drink driving, and I mean never drink and drive. Advantages: Keep kids happy for ages
Disadvantages: It's downright annoying

...Ok ok that sounds harsh, it's a fab game and I can't put it down!!!! which is why its so blooming annoying. Firstly it's not mine, it my friends sons, well it was I think it might be mine now, as I keep hiding it when he goes home!! However looking on ebay it seems I could buy my own for around £16.99 plus p&p. It is fairly easy to play; the game has 4 switches, one that you flick, one that spins, one that twists, one you pull and a centre button that you hit (not hard honestly) The annoying electronic voice with annoying electronic music tells you what to do and if you get it wrong it tells you you are rubbish and you should try again. Disadvantages: Really annoying voice, No volume control

...Wow!!! I've had my eye on this toy for months, but never thought I could justify £20+ for a simple looking game. Anyway, I recently saw this on sale for just under £18, and I couldn't resist! It's a fantastic game, and so simple to understand and pick up. There are just 5 actions to perform, and all you have to do it follow the instructions shouted to you by the toy. Sounds simple enough doesn't it? But it is just so addictive!!!
