...I bought this product after reading the first reviewer's excellent description. After having tried many, many eye treatment creams over the years I thought one more try at something to cover my dark circles was worth a try. I have bought creams from almost all of the expensive ranges, as well as being a long time user of YSL's Toughe Eclat. Most just didnt make much difference at all, just really acting as a moisturiser without hiding my dark bags. Even although I love my Touche Eclat, its not really any good on its own without makeup. This cream is fab though. Its light consistency means that it goes on smoothly, it does not feel greasy on nor does it slide over your skin where you dont want it to (i.e. in your eyes).. ...i was after a eye base and was recomended this one. i usually get creases when i put eye shadow on,but when i tried this base i was impressed that my eyes did not crease a bit.in fact this base helped my eye shadow stay put for longer without the creases and it even made my eye shadow appear more brighter.u can use it on its own too, sometimes i use it to brighten up the eye area. i just dab a bit on with my clean fingers, i dont bother with the tiny applicator, even tho thats an added bonus.a tiny bit goes a long way.try not to rub it or it will give a streaky effect otherwise.it retails at around £7.50 but i got it with my voucher and paid the difference.... ...I'm pretty much a fan of No7 products, so when the consultant said there was a product to keep my eyeshadow on all day as well as making it look brighter and smoothing my eyelids out, well, all i could say was 'GIMME GIMME GIMME!' it cost about £9 which is pretty expensive for the size of it (if you've ever seen the No7 single eyeshadows it a fraction larger than those), but i've had it for a couple of months now and it's lasting so far! Basically, the way you use it is like when you use a primer on your whole face - you apply the base before applying any eye makeup! I got mine from Boots for £13.50. The basic idea is that the shade of pink that is used has a brightening effect on your eyes, whilst concealing dark shadows and making you look wide awake and radiant.
