Eye Candy for the frigid

It kept over-frosting thus freezing the inner components. The last straw was when it made groaning noises and noxious fumes were being emitted. So I plumped for a Candy model from Currys. It cost £369.99 with the £9.99 delivery charge being refunded as we took out an extended warranty, which cost £149 for 5 years. I am sure cheaper warranties are out there on the market but at least it gave us peace of mind. So far the Candy fridge has given us magnificent service. You will never have to defrost this unit. Eye candy

Advantages: Good animation, grown up story line
Disadvantages: Not essential to the plot and a little fragmented

...' presentation, and whilst there are still some pretty cool effects (digital 'multi-plane' camera work) the overall impression is altogether less substantial. In isolation, or even combined, I doubt the DVD would stand on it's own merit, and I wouldn't suggest it was an essential part of the total MATRIX experience, but as a piece of well executed 'eye candy' it works pretty well. At around six pounds in the shops, it's unlikely to cause a great deal of disappointment. If you are indifferent to the whole MATRIX phenomena, then this isn't going to make it any more palatable, if you are a devoted fan, or even just like animation for animation's sake, but yearn for something a little more substantial than anything from Disney, then rent it. ...Today I will review the fabulous book Candy by Kevin Brooks I enjoyed reading that book so much, I want to share my experience and present it to the world! Why did I read this book? My best friend recommended it to me - it's her favourite book. She handed me her copy (already ripped and torn because she takes it with her whenever she travels) and I started reading a few days later. Needless to say, I finished the book within 48 hours and was amazed. The cover of this book is also very nice, so I think I would have taken a closer look at it if I had seen it in a shop before. The plot A teen boy called Joe is the teller of this exciting story. He rides a train to London to see a doctor because he has a lump on his wrist. Not all candy tastes sweet.

Advantages: good acting, fairly gripping
Disadvantages: a bit depressing, some people might be offended/squeamish!

...Candy was released in 2006 and tells the story of two young lovers, artist Candy and poet Dan, becoming more and more involved in drugs, in particular the use of heroin. Candy is played by Abbie Cornish (SOMERSAULT) and Dan by Heath Ledger (BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, A KNIGHT'S TALE). Before watching this movie I had not seen any of Abbie's previous work, but was always impressed by Heath's acting, and after his sad death by accidental overdose in January decided to catch up on some of his work I hadn't yet seen. The film is based on the novel Candy: A Novel of Love and Addiction by Luke Davies, which can be found from £4.83 on Amazon Marketplace or in good bookshops. I have yet to read the book but after watching the film I would be interested to see how similar the two are, it comes with excellent reviews. I cant comment...

However, the earliest delivery date for this particular machine via the internet was a further 10 days and given that we were now without a working machine and with two small children as well, that clearly was not an option. So I decided that I would go in store the next day and try and blag the internet deal if they had the particular machine in stock. So into Comet I went and low and behold they had the machine which I wanted which was available for £349.99. I tried to get the assistant to honour the internet price but to no avail, so on principal I opted to purchase another comparable machine if one was available.
