Advantages: None that I can think of
Disadvantages: Expensive and over-rated

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. I don't know why it's taken me so long to open the box and read the 'instructions leaflet' and actually use the stuff - maybe I was having a 'premonition' about it?? I have to say, Clairins Beauty Flash Balm, or, as it states in the French (also on the packaging/tube) "Baume Beaute Eclair" has been probably THE most disappointing beauty product I have used, EVER!! I've used a lot during my years, but this stuff does not live up to the hype, so don't waste your money. Bright(er) Eyes

Advantages: improves the tone and colour of the delicate skin around the eyes
Disadvantages: a little pricey

...I actually requested this product?s inclusion on Ciao because I am so impressed by it. You might be forgiven for thinking that a person who chooses to rave about an eye cream should get out more! However dark circle syndrome is a problem which has haunted me since my teens prompting my nickname of ?panda eyes? The older I get ( I am now the wrong side of 50), the more I had begun to feel like a character in a horror movie! I researched the subject at some length but it didn?t do me much good other than arming me with a tedious amount of information which I could recount at length to those who frequently accused me of looking tired, ill, not getting enough sleep, having smudged my mascara etc. Suffice it to say it?s nothing to do with sleep deprivation and all to do with capillaries and traumatised blood vessels giving an effect...

...the batteries as the mop, once assembled, has a swivel cleaning head with an abrasive part on the top, and a button to press to spray the cleaning solution onto the floor. The handle is made of a light-weight metal that is quite easily assembled - once put together you can't take it apart again to store - and has a hook at the top to hang up the mop when not in use. You get a "user guide" too which tells you everything you need to know about using this item. As a set I think it was quite good value at £8.00, £19.99 would have been quite a lot in my opinon. The pads and bottle do have to be replaced with the branded flash products and so this is a hidden upkeep cost of this item in a sense - the bottles retail at £3.00 for 1 litre of product, and the pads are 6 for about the same price.
