Finally a soothing mask designed for your eyes

Advantages: Very soothing, doesnt cause irratation like other products can, leaves your eyes feeling refreshed. All in all a fantastic product!
Disadvantages: None although after taking the pads off they tend to leave a very slight stickyness.

Disadvantages: None,apart from being a bit pricey.

...The Mask is a comedy made in 1994 and was part of the trifecta (the others being "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Dumb & Dumber") that propelled Jim Carrey from unknown to superstar. It also made a star of another unknown actor, this time being Cameron Diaz. Jim Carrey plays Stanley Ipkiss, a bank clerk and a really nice guy. Advantages: Leave skin so smooth, easy to use

...which isn't the nicest smelling face mask I have used but it isn't unpleasant either. The clay contains lots of minerals which are good for your skin and will help to remove any impurities in your pores. I have quite sensitive skin and this product does not aggravate me in anyway as it has been dermatologically tested. Using The Mask Before you apply the mask, you will need to ensure that you have removed any makeup. I tend to cleanse my face before using this to make sure that my face is clean and the mask can get to my pores, if you really want to ensure the mask gets to your pores then you can apply this mask while laying in a hot bath (meaning you pores will be open because of the heat) The idea is to then spread the mask all over your face avoiding your eyes and mouth. Advantages: Easy to use, lasts a long time, cleanses and purifies your skin.

On opening the lid, you are hit with a strong smell of peppermint, not my favourite smell but not my worst, so bearable. The cream itself is very 'creamy', rich and very very smooth to the touch. Scoop some of the cream out of the tub and apply to your face with your fingertips. It goes on very easily, avoiding the eyes and lip area so that by the time you are finished it's quite a scary and oh so unattractive look, especially today since my eyes were still a little blooshot from last night's antics! ...moisturised and very very soft. This feeling lasted until the next day and I didn't feel the need to use a moisturiser in the morning! I use the mask 3 times a week and use it about 8-9 times before it runs out. Oatifix costs £4.95 but I took advantage of Lush's 'bring back 5 pots and get a free face mask' offer and got it for free! This is a very good offer and one I have used many times - money saving and doing my bit for the environment; it's a win - win situation! Behind the mask is an exceptional film

Disadvantages: The softness of the picutre due to the way it was shot

On the whole, a very good commentary, with some interesting elements which you don't always get in many modern commentaries. Mask Revealed: A Conversation with Director Peter Bogdanovich - This is surprisingly quite a decent extra which comes in at just over 20 minutes. Whilst there is some repetition of the information already heard in the audio commentary, there are plenty of other interesting facts such as why they chose Eric Stoltz for the lead instead of Rob Lowe and how Laura Dern actually became temporarily blind by unfocussing her eyes. Whats more it does not make my hair greasy or heavy like some other treatments that I have tried. Iceland - Free delivery!

Advantages: Fairly small easy to get around, lots of variety, cheaper bread!
Disadvantages: None really.

...and on a recent trip when I put some shopping under my niece's pushchair I actually managed to leave her raincover on an empty checkout and when I rang them up they popped it in with my sister's shopping, I was very pleased indeed (as was my sister!). Overall I would recommend Iceland, the 'round pound' value on most items makes it very easy to keep track of what you are spending whilst you are browsing the store, you can generally find most things you need here (with the exception of decent fruit and vegetables - fresh ones anyway). I have shopped here a few times in the last month or two and I always tempted by their special offers but I find myself coming away having spent less than £20.00 to feed myself and my fiance for a week, bargain!
