...EYE SKETCHING PENCIL The Kohl pencil comes in five different shades; onyx - black, sable - deep brown, royale - dark blue, tuxedo - medium blue, and stainless - dark grey steel colour. The actual pencil is white in colour and about seven to eight inches in length. It has two ends, one which is the actual eye liner, and the other is a pointed sponge tip is used for smudging the eye liner. Both end come with a small plastic lid. I only tend to apply the eyeliner at night so I can't give an accurate report on its lasting ability. It does tend to fade a bit on night out, especially compared to when its first applied, as it looks really good and the black is very intense, but I have found this with most eyeliner's anyway. In A Nutshell The Amazing Eye Pencil is part of the No.7 range, which means it is available exclusively from Boots, as with all the No.7 range. Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil - good quality eyeliner

Disadvantages: Inconsistency in texture between the shades; doesn't always sharpen well

...I wear eye pencil on most days, and I've tried a variety of different brands and types. Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil (as it seems to be called, with a rather long-winded name!) is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I think it's my favourite in terms of value and quality. It costs £2.93 from Boots and is probably around the same price in most pharmacies. It takes the form of a traditional wooden pencil with a plastic lid. When it's purchased it's already sharpened to a point so it's immediately usable. I find it better to apply the eye pencil before eyeshadow, as it is able to 'grip' the skin better. If you apply eyeshadow over it and have lost the clarity of the line, it is quite acceptable to go over the line again. Rimmel Eye Pencil

Advantages: Soft and easy to apply
Disadvantages: Wears down quickly

...Good eye pencils and eye liners are difficult to find. So when a friend recommended the Rimmel eye pencil to me I decided to buy one to find out what it was all about. Many liquid eyeliners are runny and difficult to apply, which is why I tend not to choose them. But there is also the problem of an eye pencil being hard, scratchy and difficult to apply. But I found none of these problems with this pencil! It did not even need to be warmed on the back of the hand before applying as it was a soft pencil which was incredibly easy to apply and gave a long lasting finish. I would recommend this product to anyone except for those with sensitive eyes as this is not a non-allergic make-up....

This is a soft kohl eyeliner which makes it really easy to apply, really smooth and soft. It's easy to create a smokey eye look as it's so smooth, but you can also get a sharp look as the colour is so strong. It comes as a pencil, which means you have to sharpen it. Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil

...I always tend to use Rimmel products as they are the most long lasting in my view. This eye liner certainly is. I had never used Rimmel's eye liner before, but I was buying their Volume Extend Mascara and the eye liner was being given away for free :D I believe that this usually costs around £2.99 in Boots, which for eyeliner is really good value for money. I have had the liner for around two months, and I use it pretty much every day!!! It is not too soft, or too hard and applies really easily. I can get the exact look that i want with it. The pencil also sharpens easily and doesn't split :) Another thing about this eyeliner, and also all Rimmel products is that they never make my skin itchy or dry it up A+++...

Get that wide eyed look!

...I've never really been one for make-up. I just about have enough time in the morning to slap on a bit of cream and concealer and then I'm off. However for special occasions or going out with friends I make more of an effort, especially as I have recently started wearing contacts. The No7 amazing eyes pencil was actually one of the first items of make-up that I bought. My sister was already a fan so it came highly recommended. This review is for the black coloured eyeliner pencil. The pencil is 2-ended; on one end is the pencil itself which is covered with a gold coloured lid whilst the other end has a smudge tip, consisting of a soft, slightly pointed sponge, which is covered with a clear coloured lid. There is gold writing on the body of the pencil with the No7 logo and a brief product description. I think it looks quite elegant...

Making eyes

Advantages: wears well and gets great effects.
Disadvantages: can't think of any.

...get used to not touching your face. I however, tend to rub my eyes and things like that, so I need my makeup to be fairly resiliant. I am not easy to please. Rimmel products are not too bad for smudging, even when I carelessly run my fingers over them. They allow me to draw great dramatic Egyptian style designs around my eyes if I am feeling flamboyant, and they work very nicely if I'm trying to be a bit more subtle. I don't have much trouble getting a decent point when I need them (although I seldom remember to put the pencil in the fridge or freezer.) I've also found that this eyeliner works well as a lip liner - this is if you want to look gothic. I paint my lips dark red or purple, the put an edge round with the eyeliner, I blend a bit of the black eyeliner in with the lipstick, for a really gothic look. I stays put fairly well...
