No pouting about this eye shadow!

Advantages: Great range of colour, fun and cute
Disadvantages: Can be expensive depending where you buy it from

...I have had my eye on the 'Pout' range of cosmetics for a while. They always look really cute and fancy, but they are quite pricey. When I was in TK Maxx recently, they had a bag of 'Pout' goodies for £20, this included lip gloss, eye shadow, lip sticks, applicator brushes.. so for such a bargain price I couldn't really not buy it! The thing that really drew me to this eye shadow, first of all, was the super cute packaging! The actual eye shadow box comes in a clear plastic package, which you can open the end and take the eye shadow box out of. The eye shadow box is turquoise in colour and has a 'P' on the front of it. The box looks like it has lace all over it, since it has a white lace design all over the front. It also has a really cute little pink bow on the front of it made of real ribbon. Best Eye Shadow From Bourjois

Advantages: Long lasting, not expensive, nice casing, create lots of eye styles
Disadvantages: Only ten colours

A Duo Eye Shadow For Due Occhi!!

Advantages: Two complementing shades in one compact.
Disadvantages: A little dusty!

A fantastic eye shadow if you can afford it!

Advantages: lovely colours, very pigmented

...A while back I bought a set of Smashbox cosmetics from QVC which included two eyes shadows. At the moment I have a palette of Avon eyeshadow which I use most often, so I only really wear these two now again, but I wore one of the colours for about three days in a row last week, so I thought I'd review it while it is still fresh in my mind! I believe Smashbox make their eye shadows in duos and trios but I just have two of the single shadows. There is a wide range of colours available and they come in either matte or shimmer shades. Both of mine are shimmery, so I can't really comment on how good or bad the matte ones are. The shadows are pressed powder which come in round black pots with screw on lids, and the lids have a little clear window which is handy if you have several, because this way you can see which colour is which...

Benefit Creaseless Eye Shadow

Advantages: Long-Lasting, Creaseless,
Disadvantages: Price - but is worth it!

...Like most Benefit products, this comes in gorgeous packaging, with a great retro box and glass jar. This doen't come with a brush or applicator, but i found this easier to apply with a brush rather than using my fingers, but evenusing your fingers gives a nice even appearence. The reason i prefer to se a brush to apply this eye shadow is because the texture of it is quite greasy, but this probably adds to the durability as this is increadiably long lasting. It lasted all day and well into the evening, no base/primer required, and as the name suggests - it doesn't crease at all! I found that this product lasted for months, and although Benefit products are usually quite pricey, in this case its definately worth it - you get what you pay for!...

So what do I think of their creaseless cream eye shadow? - well to start with I would never pay over £10 for an eye shadow so look around for a good deal. ...The packaging of this eye shadow is a little plastic tub with a transparent overlay on the top which flips up. It comes in a very shallow pot, containing 0.12 ounces, but don't let the amount put you off as only a tiny bit is needed so this pot will last you for months. The size of the pot makes it very portable, so it will fit into your jeans, tiny bag - just about anywhere! However, it needs to be portable as it only lasts for several hours before it needs to be touched up, even if you do use a primer/base (which i would definately recommend with this).
