I must warn you though that if you do decide to comment on the plane or airline you may be launched upon by the Plane spotters that regularly make the trip out to the aviation field armed with walkie talkies and binoculars not to mention the wide lens paparazzi cameras that can be seen on every other person. A BIRDS EYE VIEW OF HODGEPODGE LONDON BUILDINGS

Advantages: A high view very well run.
Disadvantages: Pods are sprayed with something that can be a bit offputting

...:00, so after a Tea break in St James Park, a Walk thru to Horseguards Parade, then Whitehall, Passed Downing St (I remember when we lived in a "Free Democratic Country) when we could actually walk down it, now it seemed very threatening to a Nine Year Old. Across Westminster Bridge and arrived at the Eye about 15:35, quick Toilet Break and joined the Queue at 15:45, only took about 10 minutes before we were ushered onto a "POD". During this 10 mins we had our Bags Checked, a bit like the Airports no "SHARPES" allowed. The actual boarding is done while the Pod is still slowly moving, so can be a slight worry, but if you have a problem with this see the Staff who can have it paused for those who need help boarding. A birds eye view

Advantages: Get to see London from above
Disadvantages: A long queue (for me)

...Despite having a fear of heights I had always wanted to go on the London Eye since it first opened but didn't have the chance till last December for my 14th birthday. Being last December I won't quite remember all of it. My experience of the London Eye might have never happened because of thick fog, I mean I wouln't have wanted to go just to see nothing of London would I ! But luckily the fog cleared for a beutiful clear day. The bad thing about popular attractions is the waiting in queues especially when it was freezing cold outside, but I had some hot coffee and a very good view of the 135metre London Eye so it was O.K. It was £4.00 for a child and £9.00 for an adult and was definetly worth the money. The pods moved very slowly (10 inches per second) and almost seemed as if they weren't moving at all. Birds Eye View of Manhattan- Literally

Advantages: Great views
Disadvantages: Lots of Queues, Very busy, Obstructed Views of Central Park due to Top of the Rock

I find them raw , enthusiastic and aspirational but at the same time down to earth and easy to relate to. To add to my list is ?Hats off to the Buskers the Mercury nominated debut by by Dundonian quartet the View. The View are a young indie band who hail from the Dundee district of Dryburgh. There music is rooted in their background with lead singer Kyle Falconer's vocals proudly displaying the Dundonian burr, which is a pleasure to listen to. ...It seemed as if just about everyone in my workplace was talking about a new Internet application called GoogleEarth, and so not wanting to feel left out I decided to give it a try for myself. Since downloading Internet programs at my workplace is forbidden this was done on my home PC. For those of you who have not yet heard of GoogleEarth then I will begin by saying that it a website where you can view an image of any location in the world from a satellite picture. This basically means that you can look at an aerial view of your house or neighbourhood or take a look at what the Statue of Liberty or the Grand Canyon looks like from above. Clinique are All About Eyes

Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF

...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. I walked past the alcohol and I already had my cigerettes and came accross the Clinique stand. So many people have raved about Clinique products so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try one out. I spent a long time perusing the shelves and suddenly a small little pot caught my eye. It stood out as, unlike most of the clinique products, it doesn't have a green lid and looked different so I bought it. The Pot It comes in a 15ml pot about the size of a pot of lip balm or maybe slightly bigger. The pot has a pinkish tint to it and has a silver lid. Advantages: A great help for puffy eyes.

...A mid life crisis ? - when you wake up in the mornings, take a look in the mirror and discover that you have eyes that look like arrow slits due to water retention then that is a crisis in my books. I never had any problems with puffy eyes until I entered my fifties and then it started with a vengeance. There is nothing that you can do, you just have to wait until the slight swelling starts to disappear but if you have planned to go out early and are waiting to put your make up on it can be a hindrance.
