...I am always on the lookout for decent inexpensive eye brow pencils. When I was younger fashion dictated that our eyebrows were plucked to within an inch of their life and then replaced with a pencilled in line. Now as the years have passed by my eyebrows are sparse, the over plucked brows have never made a full recovery so they have to be helped along a little. Like the majority of us I tend to look for middle of the road price tags, I don't mind shelling out for something special now and again but on the whole I like to get good value for my money. I do feel that Rimmel make up tends to be by-passed by some who feel that it is maybe a bit on the cheap side but I have had many Rimmel products that have done me proud and I still continue to be a regular Rimmel purchaser. No more bushy eyebrows!

Prices do vary and you can pick up a cheap pair from superdrug for a few quid or go mad and get Rubie and Millie narrow slanted tweezers for £13! The more you pay the better they will be. You can get slanted edges/straight edges large ends/narrow ends. Its up to you and each person differs. I like a narrow slanted edge personally and buy Wilkinson Sword ones from Boots for about £5. But like a fountain pen sculpts its nib according to your handwriting, tweezers can only be used by their owner! I couldn't go and use any old bodys pair (unless they were identical). Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil - Eye-like :)

Advantages: Affordable, has a small brush too, good colours.
Disadvantages: None really if you're not heavy-handed.

Wax a way eyebrows

...I brought some of these on thursday for £1.99 from my local shop well i went home to try them out well in the box it had 3 strips already cut i must of used 2 of the strips because they would not work at all i even let them on for 5 minutes and still wouldnt come off properly it didnt take them out of the roots it left me with little black hairs and it was red all day which was embrassing. i just have got my eyebrows sorted out today by getting them threaded which has put them into shape again. *REMOVING THE HAIRS Have to do it a couple of times on the same spot which does get painful after a while because u are ripping bits of skin aswel off. ...When it comes to makeup, there are some items that it's just not necessary to spend out on and an eyebrow pencil in my opinion is one of them. I love the look of a perfect brow and spend more time than is considered healthy plucking stray hairs but when it comes to using a pencil, I just don't think the quality of more expensive products is normally any better than their cheaper counterparts. Rimmel's Professional Eyebrow Pencil comes in at a bargain £2.93 - having not had great experiences with the Rimmel range before I was willing to give this a try on the basis that you can't really go too wrong with an eyebrow pencil!
