'er... 'F' is for fart

Advantages: can clear a room in 5 seconds

...Well I thought I'd attempt to write a humourous Op about a body function that we all do, even The Queen has someone who follows her about, and everytime she drops one, he is paid to own up and blame himself, however, when we drop one, it is usually very funny, and the smellier it is the funnier it becomes, especially when done in a crowded room and you can watch everyones eyes water at the same time...it becomes less funny, sick and disgusting when someone else does it... ...The following op is something I've just bashed out, after having listened to the Turin Brakes album 'The optimist LP'. It's a cracking good album, well worth a listen for the interesting vocals and intriguing lyrics. The one track that stuck with me is the reason this op is here. The song is called 'Future Boy', and it caught my attention for three reasons. The way the song is sung, feel as though some personal meaning has gone into it; it's a bit cryptic; and because of the way it sounds. I know it sounds a bit vague, but check it out and you'll see what I mean. I've divided the op into two sections. The first is a run through of the lyrics, the second is the lyrics with my comments and ideas.
