Low cost astro trainer that grips and rips!

Advantages: Great traction, great look and hard wearing
Disadvantages: Heavy, hard uppers.

...At a first observation these trainers looked smart and seemed to have everything you want. The price tag suggested otherwise and on trying them out I realised why they were low price. This is not to say they are not great value for money though. The grip of the trainers is great allowing for excellent control of dynamic movements without restricting movement and risking injury. I know this as I am studying astroturf footwear as part of a Phd. As far as these trainers go regarding performance there is only one problem, their weightis a bit too heavy which means you are left with tired legs and a lack of spring in your step. The uppers provide not enough give which can lead to abrasive injuries and also leaves you with a slight degeneration in the feel when playing football.. Advantages: Needs very little space, targets thigh muscles and REALLY WORKS
Disadvantages: Some may find it very boring

...Possibly the comfiest thing you will wear on your feet to work. the trainers has padding that is as soft as your normal trainers, the leather is tough enough to deal with the usual wear n tear of construction work and it looks great. they allow your feet to breath ( no more smelly feet after work) and they are very petite considering they have the steel toe cap and the steel plate in the sole. I no longer need to change into my trainers to drive the van between jobs or to and from work as the dickies feel practically no different from my regular trainers. ive been working in plant rooms with an inch of water on the floor and had no leakage and ive also had a few things drop on me and felt nothing. as these are trainers afterall its not recommended that you use them for building sites as deep mud or puddles will go up and over...

The trainer that made me cross

Advantages: Great fat burning exerciser. Automatic magnetic resistence.
Disadvantages: Poor quality.

...their service department about the fault with the computer and a new arrived in the post 2 days later, this one worked fine. When the drive belt crumbled emailed them again with a picture of the problem. They sent me a new bottom section of the cross trainer in 3 days. The trouble is this one had the same problem as the first. One email later i had a full refund of the purchase price and the postage and packaging. They also said we could keep the exerciser and get it repaired if we wanted. CONCLUSION ***************** Would buy a cross trainer again but not this one. Lost 10lbs, my wife 6lbs in 1 month, so they work. The company had great after sales service but let down by inferior product. Maybe i was just unlucky. They have a selection of cross trainers maybe one of these will be better. Thanks for reading....
