...Upon a recent visit to lush I decided to try the baby face solid cleanser after reading many positive reviews, each one telling how great the product is. Now I have problem skin, which is caused by a medical problem and is hormonal, so im constantly looking for new products to try to help ease theese symptoms. And witht hat in mind i would never give a bad review because a product did not clear my skin completely, as I would not expect miricals!!! This little cleanser was in a bowl of other identical bars in the lush store near the other cleansers they sell. The bars vary from a very pale cream, to a darker cream. This is due to the fact that the products are hand made and the ingredients are completely natural so due to natural variability this cause the product colour to be ever so slightly different, but this of course does not make...

...Everywhere i look i see Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish " one of the best cleansers i have ever used ". Unfortunatley, in my case i have to disagree. I mean, i have no major complaints about this product apart from the fact that it didnt do any justice for my complextion. I have normal to combination skin, but recently i have had a few dry days and sensitivity on my skin. I never really cleansed my face with products just the old fashion way with water and then applying a moistoriser for my skin type. Happy To Rub Johnson On My Face (well, cleansing wipes anyway)

...I do try to care about my appearance, and use expensive makeup and shampoo in order to make myself look good, yet for some reason I still tend to skimp on other aspects and beauty products. I very rarely use cleanser on my face or take off makeup with a proper makeup remover, and usually prefer to kill two birds with one stone and use a facial cleansing wipe instead. The fact that one of my best friends works very hard for her appearance and looks great yet uses face wipes too let me justify this slightly, especially if I ignore the fact that she uses high quality cleanser as well. Another complaint is that for sensitive skin, it may not be such a good product. I myself have sensitive skin, and sometimes this scrub irritates it, sometimes it's fine. Just be warned that it can cause redness or irritation in some people. But does the product actually do what it says on the label? Well...in a word...yes. After using it my skin feels a hell of a lot cleaner, and much softer after getting rid of all of the dry skin! I was looking for a new cleanser as I'd been using face wipes instead of a skin care routine for too long, and so my first choice was lush as usual. ...Cleanse and Polish is a cleanser that is made using natural products such as Echinacea and Aloe . It smells wonderful. It has helped clear up patches of excema on my face and also my sons acne. It is used along with muslin cloths which are wet with hot water and wiped across your face to remove the cleanser. This also removes dead skin cells. This helps with the renewal of your skin. Husbands also get hold of it and use it for shaving. It is a family product and has no harsh chemicals in it. It comes in a pump action container which measures out the correct amount to use. I am using this product since 2005 until now and I am really satisfied with this product. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is without a doubt the best cleanser!

Advantages: removes all make-up, including eyes, leaves skin moisturised but not oily.
Disadvantages: none!!!

...to have slightly oily, spot prone skin, and this cleanser works brilliantly for me but my mum has very dry skin and it works equally well for her! Recently I decided, as I was a bit low on money, that I would try a different, cheaper brand of cleanser but soon regretted it! The beauty of Cleanse and Polish is that it removes all make-up, including eye make-up, and not many cleansers do that. I really hate the palava of having to use seperate eye make-up remover and face cleanser so this product really saves time and fuss. The muslin cloth is also briliant at gently exfoliating the skin and removing all the make-up and grime. I have also used a few of Liz Earle's other products and love them all, especially the Liz Earle Skin Repair Light, which I have also reviewed. I really cannot recommend it highly enough....
