Comforting cleanser

Advantages: Very moisturising & soothing
Disadvantages: Expensive & leaves skin a bit greasy

...I bought this after getting a sample of a similar Clinique face wash and really liking it. I liked the sound of this one because it was described as being really gentle and I feel my skin is becoming increasingly sensitive recently. I cheated and got it from a seller on Amazon, which meant it worked out a few pounds cheaper than the original price which is £13.70 for the 150ml bottle. What it says on the bottle? ?Gently and effectively removes stubborn makeup, leaves skin smooth and comfortable? It also directs you to massage in the cleanser before rinsing or wiping off with a tissue. Packaging? The bottle is typically Clinique, it is a white tube with a hint of pink. It has a green lid at the bottom and in block capitals ?Clinique? at the top and ?comforting cream cleanser? in smaller black writing beneath...

Lush Baby Face Cleanser

Advantages: works well, lasts ages......everything

...Lush Baby Face Cleanser I am always on the look out for products that last a long time, work well and don't cost too much and I have definitely found what I want with this Baby Face cleanser from Lush. Removing makeup after a long day can sometimes be a bit of a chore but it is certainly made easy with the use of this simple yet effective bar. The bar cost me £3.25 pence and is a good size at 35 grams. The bar is a creamy white colour and has a child's face etched into the top surface of the bar. It comes in hardly any wrapping with a thin covering of plastic that was easily disposed of and since buying I have kept the bar in a tin especially made for these sort of bars from lush. The bar I find does not really smell of anything really in particular and compared to most Lush products has not really any distinctive aroma...

** A Confused Cleanser **

Advantages: Lovely on the skin, smooths and refreshes.
Disadvantages: Expensive, it does not cleanse as well as it should, disappointing packaging.

Lush's Baby Face "cleanser"

Advantages: Cute product, easily put into Lush's travel tins
Disadvantages: Messy, left my skin greasy, didn't cleanse

...I'm a huge advocate of Lush products, as they really are delicious and I love the philosophy the whole company goes by. I've tried lots of their products and have never had a really bad experience with any of them. Baby Face is a cleansing bar, which is supposed to be the gentlest cleansing bar in the Lush range. It comes in a small white oval shape, moulded into a chubby, smiling face. The packaging is merely a piece of Lush's signature paper, secured with a sticker to remind you what it is and how to use it. At £3.50 for 35g, Babyface is the cheapest cleanser in the Lush range (although it's also the smallest). Because of it's round shape, Babyface fits perfectly into Lush's metal tins, designed for carrying Lush products in toiletry bags, gym bags, suitases etc. I'm always excited to get fresh Lush products home as soon as I buy...

Advantages: cleanses, exfoliates, leaves skin smooth, no residue left, improves skin condition

To use, apply a ten pence amount to your hands, rub together till warmed slightly (this will stimulate the glycolic acid) and then apply to the face, massage all over for about 2 minutes then moisten your hands and massage for another minute, then rinse off with luke warm water, then pat dry and apply corrector and moisturiser. When you apply water, you are likely to feel the tingle more, as glycolic acid loves water and really works when applied with it. You can also use this as a wash by mixing with water and foaming up in your hands before using. As it contains glycolic acid, I wouldn't recommend using it to take your eye make up off as it could sting, although I do still use it, I am just very careful around my eyes. Facial cleanser is a lovely thick and substantial cleanser, it is white in colour, with a pearly appearance...

Eve Lom Cleanser: The best cleanser in the world? Probably..

Advantages: An all rounder that actually promises what it delivers - better skin!
Disadvantages: Starts at £48 for 100ml so can be a bit pricey for some

I had the instruction booklet propped up and followed the 7 steps which took quite a while on my first go but with practice I have indeed got the routine down to a couple of mins! There are accompanying pictures so its easy to follow. You basically massage and use mild pressure to decrease puffiness in key areas (eyes, forehead, mouth, jaw line etc). Then you soak the muslin cloth in the basin of hot water, squeeze it out and press the cloth onto your face for about 5 seconds, repeating this process 3 times. The liquid is really runny, the same consistency as water. The bottom layer of liquid is an orange colour and the upper layer is clear. Ponds Cream Cleanser

Advantages: Great cleanser for winter time
Disadvantages: Can get a bit too oily for certain skin types

...much as you want. This cream cleanser is great for winters for dry skins. It worked extremely well for me to remove my make up. I use a lot of eye make up and lipstick generally and this cleanser takes away every trace of make up leaving my skin squeaky clean. I have also used the cleanser for just cleaning my face before going to bed and trust me, it makes you feel all light and oil free. I would recommend this cleanser especially to be used in winter time....
