Burts Bees Citrus Facial Scrub is 99% natural and smells lovely

Advantages: Ethically sound product which smells gorgeous
Disadvantages: Not very scrubby

...This natural sulfate-free facial scrub is 99% natural and contains finely ground almonds, oats, pecans and rose petals to gently exfoliate skin it also contains sweet almond oil, rosemary extract, orange oil, soyabean oil, canola oil and clove flower powder. I found this quite difficult to keep on my face as the scrubby bits fell away not having a thick sticky enough base to keep everything together, after a minute or two of scrubbing there was not much left to scrub with! The scrub particles are mostly soft and i found them difficult to move around on my face so overall i didnt get much of a scrub out of it. My skin was slightly red and blotchy after use but this was probably down to my sensitive skin reacting to maybe the orange or clove. AVON ALOE FACIAL EXFOLIATING SCRUB WITH KIWI

Advantages: You only need a small amount so the value for money is excellent. Not bad at all on price for 100mls. Not any everyday use product so lasts for a quite a long while.
Disadvantages: As with most exfoliators, not very good for sensitive skin. You have to make sure you wash it off properly otherwise it will mark your skin.

...This skin scrub is way more expensive than many on the market but I bought it as a treat to myself after I had my daughter when I was wanting to 'treat' myself and spend a bit of time on me. It is quite a gentle scrub compared to others that I have tried and tested but still seems to have the same affect which is good as I don't feel like i've scrbbed myself raw with pips or grit or whatever the latest scrub contains!
