Having tried every volumising, lengthening, tubing, eyelash primer, and even using talc (yes it does work as a thickener between coats of mascara), I discovered false lashes. Initially I battled with the spiders which come in a strip out of a box, but my eyelids looked like they had ton weights on them, I could never get the line straight, correct amount of adhesion etc., Eventually, afraid they may land in somebodies soup I HAD to seek an alternative. Disadvantages: Quite expensive but worth it if you use them a lot.

...First of all, this is an expensive mascara - as much as £8.95 in some places (but I got mine cheaply on a cross-channel ferry, hehe!), but it is definately worth the money! I love this mascara! As an incurable flirt, I know that lashes are definately a woman's best man-manipulating tool, and this mascara does what every other mascara on the market claims (and fails) to do. You really cannot beat Coup de Theatre for long, non-clogged, fluttery lashes. They really are amazing. (Even more amazing if you use an eyelash curler before putting the first layer on) It's not an easy product to use, mind. Advantages: Look great and natural for the first few days, cheaper than other brands
Disadvantages: Only last 2 weeks, look clump, false and weigh down your lashes after a few days

.... As I said however i-lash Designer Eyelash Extensions are better than traditional eyelash extensions, for the few days they look good anyway! For the first few days, they don't look false or obvious, which traditional eyelash extensions do. ~~~~~~~~~ Conclusion ~~~~~~~~~ Semi-permenan t eyelash extensions are fantastic but I wouldn't recommend these particular ones, they don't last and look obvious and weigh your own lashes down after just a few days. If you are thinking of having these done, I would 100% recommend Hollywood Lashes, as there is such a difference....

Advantages: Last up to 3 months, nautral looking and feeling, don't hurt your own lashes
Disadvantages: You must use oil free make up remover and water based mascara

Disadvantages: stains skin and clothes, can cause allergic reactions

...I buy my Eyelash tint from a wholesalers, Sallys, instead of somewhere like boots, because its so much better quality and is in salon sizes which means it will last you longer. I've had my first tube of Eyelash tint for 2 years now, overdying my eyebrows and lashes every fortnight lol. Buying from the wholesalers means you need to buy each part seperately, instead of getting it all in one box, so it works out the first time you buy the Dye is more expensive, but I've only had to buy it all once over 2 years. You would need to get a tube of Eyelash tint £5.99, Hydrogen Peroxide £6.99, a mixing tub £3 and an eyelash brush £2.99. Because I'm so cheap, instead of buying the mixing tub and eyelash brush, I just use a lip brush and a clean bottle cap, it works just as well! avon eyelash curlers

Advantages: very small and gentle
Disadvantages: can break as they r plastic

...i have been using metal eyalash curlers and had no complaints with them and then i received these curlers from avon. i was lucky as i didnt have to pay for them. because i ordered some stuff from avon during christmas and they were offered as a free gift with some eye make up. and i was amazed at their small size. when i used i just loved them much better than the usual ones and they also have a spare pad in the handle to replace if the earlier one goes spoiled. sometimes i even heat them up with hair dryer to double it as a heated curler(although i have heated ones as well which work on cell ,who has the patience) . they r so gentle on the lashes and u can put the mascara afterwards so the curl stays there. the only thing i dont like is they are not as strong as metal ones as they can break easily. i slide my eyelashes through them...

...Being Chinese I have straight eyelashes which need curling before I put on mascara. I had read in the Times that Shu Uemura eyelash curlers were the best for curling eyelashes but was rather put off by the price - £18.00 for eyelash curlers which I thought was just too much! Whilst in duty free returning from a holiday in Hong Kong I found a pair of these eyelash curlers being sold for HK$100 (approximately £8.00) and as I had some spare currency left I bought a pair. They appear to look like eyelash curlers you can get in Boots but when you hold them you notice the difference immediately. The quality of the materials used appear to be so much sturdier than the cheap metal ones and the black rubber seems to be more durable than most. I actually got a spare black rubber part when I bought mine which I have not had to use yet...

There's no falseness to the claims made by this mascara!

Advantages: Beautifully bold, thick eye lashes to flutter at everyone.
Disadvantages: Not for people who already have very long eye lashes, like me!
