...Avon Far Away is a fragrance which Avon have been selling for well over ten years now, as well as the perfume you can also purchase the matching bath and body products which compliment and layer the scent of the perfume. People who have dry skin and find that the perfume doesn't have particularly good staying power on them would benefit from using the complimentary Body spray, talc, shower gel or moisturiser before applying the perfume as this would gave the scent a base to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the perfume fragrance. All peoples skin types are different and perfumes, body lotions, shower gels etc act differently on each individual because of the different oils in our skin.
As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the bottle of Far Away is supplied in a circular shaped frosted glass...
Advantages: Excellent price, highly addictive, beautiful graphics and amazing multiplayer online Disadvantages: Can get frustratingly hard, storyline abit much, need a good PC
...Upon reading a review of FarCry in my monthly computer magazine, and looking at the screenshots shown and the high gold award given to it, I decided it might not be a bad idea to buy this game as I hadn't played a decent first-person-shooter in a long time. I don't regret buying it one bit, although I did pay the full £25 price when it first came out, not realising it was going to be on sale for as little as £5 In a few days time.
The storyline to FarCry is a little over-the-top I feel. You are sent to some islands in the South Pacific to investigate some strange goings-on, and end up being embroiled in battles with other mercenaries and even alien type creatures. Eventually whilst playing the game I lost plot of what was really going on, not that the storyline is the games strongpoint, I find its far too complex and boring trying to...

Review of Far Cry (PC)
Advantages: Beautiful scenery, excellent physics, great action and gameplay, challenging AI Disadvantages: Demands a lot of your PC, broadband required for best performance on multi-player
...When I first heard about Far Cry, I made it my mission to play it, demo or otherwise. I was astounded at the sheer beauty of the landscapes, not to mention the fact that it was one of a very small number of modern first-person-shooters.
Basically, you play Jack Carver, a boat skipper/charter who has a history that he?d like to forget. He has been hired by Val Constantine to take her to the uncharted island of Micronesia. On safely delivering Val to the island, Jack has his boar blown up by some mercenaries who, obviously, weren?t too happy to have him there. And so your mission begins.
What was my first play of it like? Well, after waiting several hours (over a period of about a month) for my tiny little 56kb dial-up connection to receive all 100+ MB of the demo, I was slightly disheartened. Why? Well, my computer had 256MB...

Review of Far Cry (PC)
Advantages: Lot's of missions and gameplay Disadvantages: Takes ages to get around map
...games I've played I found the computer controlled characters very dumb making the game too easy.
The graphics are amazing! But more on that below!
----------------------------------- What doesn't work? --------------------------------------------------
There is far too much travel in the game! The map being great is a must have but going from one side to the other by car take upwards of twenty minutes. It's very annoying having to kill guards on your travels when you simply want to go to a mission.
Bus stops have been located around the map so you can travel corner to corner but I found many missions were not located near them.
You also have to keep finding first aid. When you get shot you need to get aid and also pills. This takes up time and can get annoying when you just want to attempt a mission...
Advantages: Spectacular Graphics, Nice Gameplay, Quite intense Action Disadvantages: May Need A High-End System To Run To The Max
...One of the most graphic-heavy games that braved our stores in 2002-2003, Far Cry uses technology that was never before seen in a PC game...
You play Jack Harver, an ex-military man turned tour guide, running his own boating service around a set of tropical islands. When a female journalist hires you to take her closer to the islands, in order for her to get some pictures of it, your living hell begins, first, with the capture of her...
Far Cry uses CryTek's "Cry Engine", that is truly impressive. More so, in my view, than Valve's Source engine. The graphics themselves are something to go by. Each character has been modelled spectacularly well, and not just the main characters. The merceneries around the island are incredibly well detailed, with their weapons being more so. As an island would be, it is surrounded by water, and that...

Review of Far Cry (PC)
Advantages: Breathtaking graphics and sound, Great fun, A true next-gen game Disadvantages: Demanding on you and your PC, Checkpoint save system, Silly story
...Far Cry is a revolutionary game in some ways, but a very unoriginal one in others. However, despite the fact that its story could be written on the back of an envelope and it brings all but the best machines to their knees, Far Cry is a masterpiece of graphical quality, has a great physics system and, above all, is great fun.
Graphics And Sound:
The first thing that hits you about Far Cry is the graphics - they are by far the best seen in any game to date and even rival those of the upcoming Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. The Crytek engine on which the game is based was originally designed as a test for next-generation graphics cards but the developers saw its potential and built a game around it. This game became Far Cry.
The main thing that differentiates Far Cry from its competitors is that it handles both indoor and outdoor...

Review of Far Cry (PC)
Advantages: enormous world (free roam), good fire effects/explotions, good map editor and multiplayer Disadvantages: driving is difficult, AI could be better, few minor bugs
... Far Cry 2
Introduction
Far Cry 2, one of the most anticipated game of the year, but is it any good, well after Far Cry 1 it should be one of the best games ever, but can this new sequel follow its pre-processors success, or like many games should the 1st one the last. Well first of all it has nothing to do with the first, so if you were a big fan of the 1st then this one won?t oblige you to buy this one. Also instead of an island, Far Cry 2 is set in an unnamed African country. So lets begin.
Story
First of all the story of Far Cry 2, well you are a mercenary and has a job to do, hunt down and kill "the jackal" a dangerous arms dealer is the villain of the game. You start arriving in Africa and after 5 min of sitting in car waiting to get to your hotel when you get Malaria and faint. When you awake the jackal is...

Review of Far Cry 2 (PS3)
Advantages: Beautiful graphics and landscapes Disadvantages: Monotonous gameplay.
...Far Cry 2.
I bought this game for the Xbox 260 after having played the first installment of the game, Far Cry, on the PC and being very impressed. However, I feel this latest offering is somewhat of a disspointment. It cost me £29.99 from play.com in October 2008.
The story of the game is you are out to kill "The Jackal" who is a serial arms dealer who you have had dealings with in the past. To get to him you must steadily build up contacts, unlock new parts of the map, and traverse across a literally endless landscape, which in itself is beautiful and partly makes up for the poor gameplay.
The graphics in general with this game are extaordinary; the beautiful, lush, African landscapes seem to roll on forever, and change rapidly and blend into one another seemlessly. The buildings, people and vehicles are also beautifully made...
Advantages: Excellent Storyline, Cheap Prices, Disadvantages: Getting Medicine Can Become Tedious.
...Far Cry 2
Xbox 360
This is a sequel to the, in my opinion, excellent, FPS game Far Cry.
You start the game by choosing from a list of characters, each with there own 'perks', and then you are set free on a is st open world to search for and kill a man known as 'The Jackyl'.
The Jackyl is a arms dealer who provides the 2 war-ing factions in Africa with all the weapons they need, and in turns is turning the country into a warzone.
To find him, you must complete missions from both of the Factions until you are playing them off against each other and recieve intel on where the jackal is.
I was a huge fan of the original Far Cry game on the PC, and also really liked Far Cry Instincts Predator on the Xbox 360. So when I heard this game was being released I couldn't wait to play it. In a way I was slightly dissapointed with that...
Advantages: Moore, Haysbert and Haynes' direction Disadvantages: Quaid is out of his depth and the script can be a touch cliched
...Far From Heaven is a beautifully made piece of cinema. Todd Haynes delivers a perfectly crafted homage to 1950's melodramas with a twist of 2000's disfunction.
Julianne Moore stars as Cathy Whitaker the model housewife living in suburban late fifties Hartford Connecticut. To the world around her Cathy and her husband Frank (Dennis Quaid) have the perfect marriage, family, home and life.
Cracks begin to appear when Cathy gets a late night call from the police and has to bail her husband out after he is 'mistaken' for a 'loiterer'. The true extent of Frank's 'loitering' is quickly revealed and Cathy's perfect world starts to fall apart.
Cathy finds comfort in the most unlikely of places when her black gardener Raymond Deagon (Dennis Haysbert) catches her crying. The two start to form a friendship under the prying eyes of Cathy...
