Farm Food Shopping

Advantages: low prices, great for party food
Disadvantages: sometimes out of special offer products, some foods high in fat

...If you need to stock up your freezer with quick convenience foods, then this is the place to come. Very good value store, especially for things like chips/pototo products, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, sausages, sausage rolls etc. Excellent if you want party food. Not very good if you follow a healthy eating plan, and need low fat foods, as a lot of their meals are high in fat. They do a good range range of puddings, ice creams, frozen fruit and pies. Their gateaux are very good value and a good size too. Their blue and white carrier bags are free and are very strong and big, so are useful for mny other things. They are low priced, and always have a selection of good offers on - which can sometimes be out of stock....

Farm Foods no room to move

Advantages: certain good offers
Disadvantages: unreliable quality and store size

...Farm Foods is a strange kind of shop . Some branches are really tiny and you can't move around in the shop with a pram or pushchair. Other branches are like small supermarkets by contrast and as a result the range of stock on display is much better . Also their own brand range of frozen food leaves a little to be desired . The quality is poor and unreliable in my opinion when compared to say Iceland . The bread that they sell is not always fresh and that's if they have any at all . Some offers they promote are good but a lot of them are over hyped and not as good as it first appears . All in all in my opinion a frozen food shop to avoid .There is much better value and quality to be had elsewhere....

Britain's makes authentically detailed farm equipment models scale 1:32 There are tractors combiners and other vehicles plus animals for the farm. So to tend the animals, drive the vehicles we need some people. The people in this farm family group are about 5cms tall .Recommended for over 3 year olds. This farm family mum, dad, girl and dog are dressed ready to work on the farm. They look a bit old fashioned really. They all stand on a base of brown mud plastic and all wear green wellies (except the dog who is not standing on mud but on his 4 legs.) . ...I fancied going away for the weekend but didn't want to go far or spend a fortune, I didn't even want to spend £100 a night for a basic hotel so I searched for guest houses in the lake district as we don't live far from there and the countryside is lovely. I couldn't find any vacancies so I suggested a caravan to my husband, he agreed as we both think it's great for children to be outside and they love it. I search the Hoseasons website and we decided to go on Friday after school and work etc and stay until Monday as the children were off school then. We wanted a fairly basic site as we were going to take games to play at night and the netball post and maybe the swingball. After looking I came across Chapel Farm Caravan Park in Little Asby. This farm is a wooden farm it comes with a thin wooden plywood base that is painted green to represent grass and has a blue area to represent water painted on in one of the corners. A few flowers are also painted on the green board as well as a path of stepping stones. . There are some farm buildings. The buildings are natural wood coloured with red roofs. There is a dog kennel, a windmill the sails do rotate. An open fronted wooden building with a few shelves this is stabling for the horses or shelter for the cows the chickens can roost on the shelves. ...As the summer holiday approaches I have been trying to think of different places to take my daughters for days out, especially looking for places that are not too costly. If you live in the Berkshire area and have younger children, an excellent place to visit is Bucklebury Farm. The farm is in the small village of Bucklebury which is probably about halfway between Reading and Newbury and is roughly six miles along the A4 from Junction 12 of the M4. There is a brown tourist signpost signalling where you leave the main road and then it is a couple of miles along some country lanes. There is quite a large free car park when you arrive.
