The Original

Advantages: Amy Lee's vocals, the songs, lyrics...everything!

...Before Evanescence made it big in 2003 with what many think of as their debut album "Fallen", the band released this album in 2000. Back then, they weren't very well-known, and the album was only ever released in the UK. I've loved Evanescence ever since I first heard "Bring Me to Life", and so after I'd bought Fallen, and loved it, I searched the internet to find out if they'd done anything else. I came across a few obscure mentions of a CD called Origin, but when amazon didn't turn up anything in a search, I gave up. Back then, you see, (and it's hard to imagine), I didn't know about the wonder that is ebay. Anyway, I digress. So I'd bought Fallen, loved it, and played it again and again over the following couple of years. Then, when I heard that Evanescence were releasing a new album in 2006, I once again searched the internet...

I was given a bottle of Duchy Rose and Mandarin shampoo recently by my daughter. She had bought it, tried it and disliked it, so passed it on to me, a few days later she turned up with the matching conditioner. The Product ?A creamy, nourishing, protein conditioner made with organic Rose and organic Mandarin Essential oils? is the strap line on the label. Muse - Origin Of Symmetry

Advantages: Brilliant, energetic music
Disadvantages: Disadvantages?!?

...After recently watching one of the best live performances I've ever seen at Reading Festival this bank holiday weekend, I felt it completely necessary to review what is, in my opinion, Muse's best album to date; Origin Of Symmetry. After the general success of their debut Showbiz, this second album raised them into the high-society of headlining rock music acts. After this weekend's show, it's easy to see why Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard are thought of so highly. Opener New Born, is simply breath-taking. The piano introduction builds the song up perfectly, with Bellamy's eerie vocals - Thom Yorke-esque at times - acting as a perfect compliment. Then it all happens. The piano's die down and it comes the electric guitars, with a riff full of energy, rhythm and excitment. From then on the verses keep the tempo...

Alpen: The original

Advantages: Authentic taste,delicious and healthy.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for Gluten,Cow's milk & Nut alllergies.

St. Elmo's Fire - Original Soundtrack

Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack.
Disadvantages: None!

...memories of this movie and of the time it was released in the charts to me and I just love recalling it all. This track was released in 1985 and reached number 15 in the billboard charts. The music video to accompany this love song was taken from clips of the St Elmo's Fire movie also. This is an excellent track, that?s an all time favourite to me. Overall Opinion Of St Elmo's Fire Soundtrack. Well as you have probably gathered from reading this review, I really love this soundtrack a lot. I have had this original one for over twenty years. I first had it on cassette and then upgraded it to CD. It really looks a bit tatty on it, but that?s because it has been played a lot by me over the years, as I love it so much. ...I hate shaving, I hate the mundanity of it, I hate the cuts, I hate the fact I have to! On top of all that I am useless at it, which considering I have been doing it for 30 years, is pretty poor really. Generally I use an electric razor but every now and then, about twice a month I have a 'proper' shave. I have never found a razor I liked, and never found a shaving foam/cream/gel I liked, until now! I do like the Original Source range, the shower gels and the shampoo's so when I saw a shaving gel, I thought I would give it a try. ...So, upon my return to Ciao, what could I review that seemed somewhat different?? I've done a number of CD's and DVD's, but no books....but I fancied a book with a difference, and then happened to stumble across Schott's Original Miscellany.... Ben Schott conceived and wrote this book in 2002, with an updated version coming in 2003 making a couple of amendents to any potential errors in the original version. Quite simply it is the perfect book for anyone, like myself, who loves useless information... Brought from Ottaker's for £9.99 in hardback with dust cover, these 158 pages of information, is the so-called gospel of pub quiz knowledge, or just something to impress your friends with! For starters, the opening slice of information regards the terminology of "Golf Stroke Nomenclature" - the names of the shots in golf for you...
