MAXX EFFICIENCY
Advantages: Efficient, well made .reputation for reliability
Disadvantages: not cheap
...Well after 2.5 years and many breakdowns i have finally given up on my hoover washing machine and taken delivery of a bosch maxx 1100 spin washing machine.
The machine cost me £420 from a local supplier,it is available for only £343 was the cheapest price i found via www.pricerunner.com.I decided to purchase it from a local shop due to their excellent customer service free delivery and they take away the old machine too.
The bosch maxx so called i believe due to the fact that it takes a 6kg load rather than the industry average of 5kg.
As you probably know for a while now all electrical appliances are rated for their energy efficiency from A-E A being the most efficient and E being the most wasteful.Well the bosch maxx scores A on both energy efficiency and uses very little water per load.
The wash programmes are very simple...

Maxx-imum Value
Advantages: Bargains aplenty, heavily turned-around stock.
Disadvantages: Organised chaos !!
...T.K.Maxx is a subsiduary company of a huge U.S firm called T.J.X, Inc which has 1,300 stores across the whole of North America making it one of the Worlds largest discount retailers. The first T.K.Maxx was introduced to the U.K in 1994 as part of an expansion plan in Europe but the venture was very slow in taking off. However slow as it was, the off-price policy that T.K offers has begun to take off in recent times and there are now 123 stores in the U.K with two more in Holland. T.J.X envisages there being 170 stores in the U.K within three years all making a profit which would mean that nearly every large town and city would have one, so if theres not one near you now, there soon will be !
T.K Maxx's off-price policy basically means that they sell top name brands at discount prices and the reason why they are cornering the niche in...

Maxx it up
Advantages: reliability and ease of use
Disadvantages: none - maybe it should iron the clothes too!
...without causing me any bother. (the only bother I can cope with it the odd sock in with the white load!). In our many conversations Service Man had commented on Bosch. Never have to fix them he said. So Bosch were looking like favourites.
Another ?want? was that the clothes must be spun dry (or dry enough for them to be tumble dried at a minimum), so a high spin speed was required. The only ?want? Mr F had was that I didn?t bleed him dry when it came to the price!!
After hours of umming and arrrring at Curry?s (and a few no I DON?T need any help THANK YOU), we decided on the Bosch Maxx. It?s sleek white lines and easy to use dials and buttons (no Star Trek Enterprise Bridge here thank you very much), and bigger drum, high spin speed and price £390.00, had us sold.
When it arrived (and I had delivered the old knacker into the arms...

Discounted to the Maxx
Advantages: Great quality brand names at great discounted prices
Disadvantages: Can be a bit like a jumble sale
...So every city must have their own TK Maxx? A leading dealer in discount designer wear, TK Maxx plays out as jumble sale meets department store. There are ladies wear, mens wear, childrens wear, foot wear, bag wear, kids play, and housewares. They offer genuine designer and high street brands at genuine discounted prices. I recently bought a pair of pierre cardin jeans with an rrp of £59.99 for £14. And there was no damage or any other reason for getting them cheaper. They also have a great housewares section if you're looking to buy bits and bobs for the house. You can get pots and pans, paintings, photo frames, lamps and modern ornaments to jot all over your place. Effectively its John Lewis at bargain basements prices (without the dull department store music and irritating shop assistants). And thats another perk. You dont...

TK MAXX Cafe Cardiff
Advantages: Vinigrette ok
Disadvantages: Everything else
...This isn?t a review of the shop, and the general clothing bargain?s to be had inside, but instead that of the cafe, which is in the basement of this particular store.
First let give you some background information as to why I ended eating in the TK Maxx cafe, especially as I wasn?t even shopping in the store! Today is match day in Cardiff, not a rugby match, which is normally frenetic, but a football match which though it?s not as busy as rugby days, it?s still pretty jammed. My father would?ve been quite happy to simply get a pasty and walk the streets, but my mother hadn?t wanted to wander about and the TK Maxx cafe was the closest thing that provided seats and wasn?t packed, and now I know why.
Firstly being in the basement, you feel enclosed and quite claustrophobic, you?re also surrounded by suitcases which makes you feel more...

* TK bot to the maxx *
Advantages: sometimes get a bargin
Disadvantages: loads
...* TK Maxx *
This company was originally from the states but under the name of TJMaxx and now there is stores in the UK and Europe.
TK promotes 60% less than the designer price but as you search in this store you will soon learn that half the 'brands' you have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF!! Another thing I have to mention is that ALOT of the ' designer' stuff that comes in IS PAST SEASON OR A SECOND.
The layout of the store is annoying as with rails and rails of clothes to search and things are not in the right places or all over the shop floor and the top you like will never be in smaller / bigger size as the stock just comes in with what there is and hat's it , once it's gone it's gone.
The shop sells men, woman s and children's clothes but they also sell a shoes most of them are weird I have to say , The home section has some really nice...

TK Maxx - A Men's Guide
Advantages: Labels For Less
Disadvantages: Clothes Shopping is boring for Men
...I can't believe that anyone reading this HASN'T been to a T K Maxx so I'll try and make this Review a bit different....
In case you didn't know, the T K Maxx proposition is that you get 'labels' for up to 60% off the RRP (recommended retail price)
They are US based and have about 800 stores worldwide. Their target Customer is 'a savvy consumer who is fashion and value conscious'
We have three (possibly more) stores in Glasgow that I am pretty familiar with
If you are into 'designer labels' but too skint to afford the 'full' price, this store will appeal to you
I must declare at the outset that I think 'designer labels' are a total con, if you look at the garmets, they are all made in Sri Lanka, the Phillipines, China, Vietnam or wherever, the same as clothes in Tesco and Primark but with a much higher price ticket. I will...

A good way to Maxx out your credit card!
Advantages: some great bargains to be had, exciting finding them!
Disadvantages: can be disorganised, easy to get carried away
...I am now in the fortunate (or unfortunate, if you are the one who views my bank account at the end of the day!) position of working close to not one but two TK Maxx stores. One I must walk past to get to work, and one is five minutes away in a retail park I can visit easily on my break. I'd always wandered in now and then and usually found a lot of bargains, but having two right under my nose has led to me walking in to pass five minutes before work, and now I'm beginning to think I'm not actually saving money on things I need, but buying a lot of things I don't because they're on sale!
There are currently 210 TK Maxx stores in the UK, Ireland and Germany, and they usually tend to be in retail parks or shopping centres rather than on the street. Each store promises big-name brands at up to 60% off. What's more they get new stock...

T.K.maxx brilliant savings
Advantages: bargains
Disadvantages: tons of stock
...For those who do not know T.K.maxx is a department store full of goodies, in store you shall find a very very varied range of mens, womens, and childrens clothes and shoes, homeware, accesories, jewellery, pet care, toys, and sporting goods.
The place has something for everyone so you wont get bored, whilst the ladies are looking at the handbags the gents can be at the sporting goods.
The best thing I believe is the amount of bargains you can find wherever you look, for eg the brand Iron Fist tee shirts are usually £20.00 and above however at T.K.maxx you can get them with ease for only £10.00 in a range of sizes, Ed Hardy boxer shorts for men in the box £10.00 usually costing £30.00 I also brought an Osprey bag from there, now usually Osprey charge £200.00 and up for a standard leather handbag, and I got mine for just under £100...

Theres no need to Maxx out your cards to get designer labels!
Advantages: Great prices, organised by style and then by size.
Disadvantages: Queues can get horrendously long.
...My review is entirely based on my experiences of my local store in Harlow, Essex.
TK Maxx is a high street store that claims to sell designer clothes at knock down prices (up to 80% off) and I have actually found that this is quite often the case.
When you enter they seem to sell everything! Homeware, toys, clothes, shoes, underwear, sportwear if you can wear it or use it at home chances are they'll sell it!
Considering the store is so huge it's very well laid out and everything is easy to find as there are signs etc and the few staff that you will see pottering around the store are very helpful.
The main reason that I shop here is for the ladies clothes and what I love about this store is that the clothes are separated by type so trousers, shirts, skirts etc and then they are separated by size as well which is fantastic as I can...
