The HP Scanjet Automatic Document Feeder attaches to HP Scanjets and is compatible with the Scanjet 5100, 5200, 6200 and 6300 series scanners. It then scans documents automatically. WHAT DOES IT DO? You put up to 25 pages of loose paper in it and click a button. The loose pages will then be scanned into your computer. Wow! Now if you only scan one document a day, you might not want to shell out £160 for one of these, but if you do a lot of it, or pay someone to stand over a scanner and do it for you, the economics of this might start to make sense. A Scanner Darkly

Advantages: Good Special Effects
Disadvantages: Not many

..."A Scanner Darkly" is based on the novel by Philip K Dick. Richard Linklater's film stars Keanu Reeves as undercover narcotics policeman; Bob Arctor. This is an interesting film but it didn't really move me deeply. There was some good acting but the story line was simply not exceptional. On deep reflection it is not a film that I would recommend. ...Background: Silent Cry is Welsh band Feeder's long-awaited album; following the hugely successful 2005 release "Pushing the Senses", which received mixed critical responses. The Guardian described the album as a "kind of emotional aural soup that will baffle the spikier members of their original punky fan base", whereas Q Magazine thought that the album would "Finally establish Feeder as major league players". Great Scanner

Advantages: good quality scanning
Disadvantages: software is rubbish, can take for ever to scan an image

...I bought myself this to scan various things (old photos, documents and some sheet music) and this does the job pretty well. It was a bit on the expensive side but I needed something that would give me good quality and I could trust that it would work well so I went for HP as they are well known for good quality products. TECHNICAL INFORMATION It can scan at up to 4,800 dpi (dots per inch) It has 96 bit colour It has a 216x311mm scanning screen Connects by USB It is 303x508x108mm (wxdxh) It weighs 5.2 kg So it can give you very good quality, it gets a lot of colours, it's got a decent sized scanning screen, it's pretty big and it's not a light weight utility. Feeder Echo Park

Advantages: All great quality - Quality not quantity
Disadvantages: Only 12 tracks, but otherwise none

...I would deffinatly not class my self as a big fan of Feeder, not because I do not like the style of music, but becasue they have never come into the limelight with a single that caught my attention. All this changed when I listend to the single 'Buck Rogers' from their album 'Echo Park'. The band have been around for a while now, but Echo Park is what really brought them nationwide fame. Feeder are perhaps a bit of a difficult band to class, mostly indie guitar, but on other tracks go more rock/nu-metal with louder sounds. For my personal preferance I do not like any Limp Bizkit/Korn, but will give anything from the Offspring to the Stereohonics to the Manics a listen. Feeder and this album in particular appealed to my tastes, and I would recomend it. Echo Park contains the two singles 'Buck Rogers' and 'Seven Days in the Sun', which...

A Scanner Darkly

Advantages: Very Stylistic, gerat soundtrack
Disadvantages: difficult to follow

...Having read Philip K Dicks book, A Scanner Darkly, I was eagerly awaiting the film adaptation. Upon hearing that George Clooney had optioned it no less, and that Richard Linklater was down to direct it I was kind of ecstatic. I have a lot of respect for George Clooney, following his efforts to turn out less main stream Hollywood films, in favour of thought provoking and interesting films. So when I heard that Keanu Reeves had go the lead role as Bob Arctor, my heart sank. To be fair to Reeves, his last couple of films have been stinkers. Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions were not bad down to his acting, more to the clunky direction of the Wachowski Brothers. But the lead character for A Scanner Darkly, in my opinion would always have needed someone who had a half decent range, and not someone who cam across as a bit of an airhead...

...Bob Nudd MBE is at it again, this time he explains the correct usage of an open ended feeder. This he uses to great effect by bagging up on bream and roach. Location = Haveringland Hall Park, Cawston, Norfolk. This lake covers some 12 acres and is quite shallow, averaging 4ft deep. Groundbait = Brown crumb - 50 to 75% Van Den Eyne Bream - 25 to 50% This is the first job of the day, mixing the groundbait. First riddle the dry ingredients, this will remove any larger pieces as they are not required. Now they should be mixed thoroughly whilst still in their dry state. ...I am always trying to encourage birds in to our garden. I find them a joy to watch and love having nature in my garden. I have many feeders in the garden including this one. I have found this to be the best one so far as it is nearly impossible for squirrels to gnaw into it and steel the food. It is a globe shape design and in the middle it has a wire tube in which you put the nuts or bird seed. The wire globe around the inner tube is just big enough for the small birds to fit through, to get to the food. It stops the larger birds such as the annoying pigeons or magpie's getting at the food as they are to big! Whilst the birds are feeding, they will feel safe as the wire globe around them will protect them against any predators such as the cats in our garden. This is such a great design as I feel that we are often not doing...

Praise from a Feeder fan. Feeder all the way.

Advantages: Awesome in every single way.
Disadvantages: Nothing at all.

...Just to get this straight... I am a massive Feeder fan, and have followed them from the very start. I still love their tunes to date, therefore just proving how good Feeder's consistency is. This album is jampacked with all Feeder's best tracks, but there are some which I think may be missing, but the one's on here are still amazing. Tracks 1. Come Back Around. This track has a superb beat, with great guitar backing. The lyrics are excellent also and the chorus has an even more amazing guitar bits in it. 9/10. 2. Buck Rogers. I always remember this song from playing on Gran Turismo. I put it on repeat and left it on the whole time. The lyrics are strange, but in a good way.
