...For my second visit to Poland after Krakow last year we had the pleasure of staying in what I would conclude as another much underestimated hotel in Poland. Star ratings for hotels in Poland seem to be a far removed reflection of what we in Britain measure as a good hotel. The Felix hotel, rated as two stars on internet and relevant literature references such as the well known Expedia, is in my opinion as a quite experienced European city traveller, way above the standard of two stars for what we consider here. As a quick comparison we stayed in a three star hotel in Italy in the same week and that hotel did not compare at all with the Felix in any of the required formats for my own rating of hotels. Felix Lickin's

Advantages: Truffle thinks Felix are the cats whiskers!
Disadvantages: Few flavours, and made by Nestl'e.

...My 10-month-old kitten, Truffle, is a really weird eater! She will not drink water unless it is from a running tap in the bath, she only eats the jelly out of her tins of food (and pesters us for it) and avoids all of the green bits in the dried food. She will eat anything off our plates though! From Chicken to carrot, from fish fingers to sprouts, she will even eat McDonald?s fries. Providing it looks like we want to eat it she nab it off us somehow, either with a quick flick of the paw or with her cute "you love me" eyes! Because of her fussy, "I wont eat it if you wont" attitude it has been difficult to find her any treats. She dislikes all of the whiskers varieties, especially the pockets that she even refuses to chase when they are rolled across the floor! Thanks to Felix Lickin's I have not had to resort to a bowl of cat treats...

Felix cat treats

Advantages: The cat loves it and there are a choice of 6 flavours
Disadvantages: Humans have to clean up after the cat

...When our cat comes running around our feet we know he wants something. It is obviously a choice of two things. He wants us to open the back door to let him out to go and play or he wants feeding. Most of the time he wants feeding so he has a choice of two brands which we but for him. He gets a scoop of iams once a day but that is another story. Most of the time we feed him Felix which, he loves. His favourite is Felix with tuna. As soon as we open the pack he gets a hint of the smell and instantly becomes attached to our legs whilst we are trying to put the food in his dish. With the knife we try to use it just to push into his dish but at the same time the cat is using his head to nudge our hands out of the way so he can get stuck in. Felix is Fabulous!

Advantages: Can be changed to hand held, quiet, powerful, great quality upright.
Disadvantages: Can topple over due to short hose, uses much healthier bags.

...Felix ?as good as it looks? Kitten Food Pouches: My cat Tifa is not a year old yet so she is still eating kitten food, I have tried her on the adult stuff a few times but she won?t eat it. I am hoping at twelve months she will suddenly change her mind and eat the adult stuff but we will have to see. Anyway back to the point? Felix as good as it looks comes in pouches each one giving Tifa two meals. I think you are meant to feed up to four of these a day but I also feed Tifa dry cat biscuits or else she just cries for food all the time, so she has just two. The pouches come in a box which seems to be the standard for all pouch type cat food. It can be a pain to open the box on occasion and other times it opens with no problems at all. Hotel Felix Cambridge - Great !

...We recently stayed at the Hotel Felix in Cambridge for the weekend and we had such a fantastic time so i thought as no one had written a review yet that maybe i should be the first!. The hotel is really easy to find and its only about a mile from cambridge city centre.. Hotel Felix is a traditional, large victorian building on the outside but its really modern looking on the inside. The hotel stands in really spacious surroundings and it has a large terrace and lovely gazebo for outside dining which is lovely especially when the weathers nice. ...According to the adverts eight out of ten cats prefer Whiskas but I seem to have the 20% that doesn’t. I’ll not say that that languid lump of feline fur of mine is a fussy eater because he will just about eat Whiskas but only under protest as he much prefers Felix. Felix For Kittens

Advantages: Good variety, easy to open
Disadvantages: None

...My two kittens are now 3 months old and we have had them for 4 weeks. To start with we tried a variety of different kitten foods including Whiskas but for some reason they seem to prefer Felix. One of the kittens is a bit fussier than the other but she likes all the tins in the four pack that we buy. The Felix for kittens four pack contains 2 x chicken, 1 x lamb and 1 x plaice - all in jelly. They come in small pieces so that the kitten doesn't have to drop half of it on the floor and they actually smell quite edible. Another bonus with Felix is that the lids are of the foil type like on coleslaw so that you can just pull the end and the whole lid comes away rather than fighting with a ring pull. The 4 pack costs about £1.50 and they eat about two tins a day between them so it is quite good value....
