3 fussy cats all love felix

Advantages: good quality. good range of flavours. reasonable price.
Disadvantages: none

...I have three "fussy" eldery cats who seem to change their mind daily on which cat food they like.After going through the whole range it has become apparent that Felix is their main choice. I like felix because the chunks of meat are not too solid and they do not get left so much after the cats have licked off all the jelly or gravy.Its slightly cheaper than another brand and and available in many flavours. its availabe in the senior version which i think has made a difference to my cats fur and general well being , they also do not seem to have so much hair shedding or furr balls and generally are in good spirits.I would love to see felix bring out their own brand of special diet food for urinary and diabetic and light for overweight cats that was not so expensive as other brands and made as wet food instead of the dried variety....

Felix - my cat will eat nothing else

Advantages: Excellent variety of choice
Disadvantages: Cannot think of any

...I personally cannot see the attraction, but my cat Purdy (hence my Ciao name!) adores all Felix products. I have tried other well known brand names such as Whiskas which is more or less in the same price bracket, along with shops own brand, and l can tell by the way the food is in the dish at the end of the day that she has not been impressed. I would also note from a personal view that Felix is the brand that smells the least. I can tell when another brand has been used to feed her highness because the smell hits you when you walk in to the house (or perhaps l simple have a sensitive nose!) There is wide variety of choice with Felix and even seasonal meals such as Turkey at Xmas! Shes seems to lap them all up! I would note that perhaps she is not so keen on the gravy varietys as opposed to the jelly ones - but l personally...

I am hoping at twelve months she will suddenly change her mind and eat the adult stuff but we will have to see. Anyway back to the point? Felix as good as it looks comes in pouches each one giving Tifa two meals. I think you are meant to feed up to four of these a day but I also feed Tifa dry cat biscuits or else she just cries for food all the time, so she has just two. The pouches come in a box which seems to be the standard for all pouch type cat food. It can be a pain to open the box on occasion and other times it opens with no problems at all. ...When our cat comes running around our feet we know he wants something. It is obviously a choice of two things. He wants us to open the back door to let him out to go and play or he wants feeding. Most of the time he wants feeding so he has a choice of two brands which we but for him. He gets a scoop of iams once a day but that is another story. Most of the time we feed him Felix which, he loves. His favourite is Felix with tuna. As soon as we open the pack he gets a hint of the smell and instantly becomes attached to our legs whilst we are trying to put the food in his dish. ...My cat's aren't called Felix. However, they do love to eat Felix cat food. When we first adopted our cats just over 4 years ago we tried them with the cheapest cat foods we could find, but the cats didn't touch it. Fussy little things! We thought Whiskas was a little too expensive, so decided to try and in between which was Felix and we've kept with it ever since. Felix cat food has a wide variety of flavours ranging from fish, (cod & plaice, salmon & prawn), ordinary meat, (chicken, beef) through to unusal meats (duck & heart, rabbit). It has a choice of chunks in jelly or chunks in gravy, so cats are sure to like it whatever their taste buds. As for cost, well, it is certainly not very cheap compared with a supermarket's own brand, however if you buy in a pack of six, the average cost is around £2.74. Also, look out...

...According to the adverts eight out of ten cats prefer Whiskas but I seem to have the 20% that doesn’t. I’ll not say that that languid lump of feline fur of mine is a fussy eater because he will just about eat Whiskas but only under protest as he much prefers Felix. He would probably die for a lick of the jelly. The 400g tins at 46p come in a variety of flavours most of which include the jelly, although there are a couple of flavours that have gravy and Spike hates those. ...Cats as you know are fussy creatures, ours are no exception. They refuse point blank to eat anything other than Felix. Not that I am complaining. This product is well priced and seems to contain the right balance of nutrients and minerals they need for a healthy diet. They prefer the jelly variety over the one with gravy, I must say that I do to, no I don't eat it, it's just less messy when you are serving it to them. To sum up, this is an excellent product and what better critic could you get for a product than the cats themselves. They vote with their stomachs....
