Mighty Mouse (Mat)

Advantages: Supports wrist, comfy, optical mice work on it, inexpensive, durable
Disadvantages: None

...Ouch! I currently spend a fair amount of time on the computer, both at work and for fun, so I need a mouse mat that provides a good cushion for my wrist. A few years ago, I used to do some very intricate and time consuming digital editing on photos, basically airbrushing models, making small body parts bigger when requested and making big bits thinner etc, and I found that this took a toll on the state of my right wrist, my mouse hand. Because I didn't have a graphics pallette to help me out, and because I was a perfectionist and edited everything personally as opposed to using Photoshop actions, I'd get cramp in my wrist, feel shooting pains and sometimes feel very weak in that hand. Not wanting to worsen the condition, I went out to buy a mouse mat that would help with this problem, and I've been using a Fellowes Argento mouse...

Where is this mouse(mat) hiding...anyone?!

Advantages: Hightened accuracy, something a bit different.
Disadvantages: A shame I can no longer find them for sale!

...When I saw this mouse mat from The Keyboard Company I just knew it was something that would be used time and time again in our household as we do like our PC games! At first, you will notice that the design of the mat isn't like any other mat you may have seen before and there is reason behind the odd shape. The 'outer' edge is arc shaped and the bottom edge has a curved finish to it. I am unsure of the material due to my eagerness to try the mat out and throwing away the packaging. What I will say is that the surface is perfect for optical mice and the sensitivity is at such a level to acheive optimum accuracy. I would say that this particular mouse mat would be ideal for anyone who loves PC gaming as the accuracy of the mouse is often of paramount importance. stylish mouse mat

...The main difference between this mouse mat and others, is that this Is built for optical mouse’s. Of course this will still work with other normal roller mouse’s too, but it will work best with optical mouse’s and was built for them because some mouse mats don’t work so well with optical mouse’s. Most mouse mats are made out of some kind of material, however this one isn’t, actually its made out of plastic and not cheap flimsy plastic either, this is made out of quite hard plastic and its surface is quite bumpy too. This makes it pick up the light sensors easily and give your mouse a much more accurate direction. On the bottom of this mouse mat, is rubber, this makes it stick to the table and so not roll all over the place as some cheaper mats do when you use them. The shape of these is great...
