...The Fender Jaguar has to be one of the sexiest guitars on the planet. From the surf sounds of Dick Dale to the screams of Nirvana, the Jaguar has been a staple of cool for decades.

Fender Dimension IV Bass - A new Dimension?
Advantages: Great variety in sound, Well built, good name
Disadvantages: Need to fiddle a bit at first to get the sound you want
...Fender are trying to create a new look and feel for themselves with this Bass. The active electronics and built in EQ are a radical change from older Fender basses.
So what do you get for your money.

Fender Stratocaster 1962 Reissue (Japan)
Advantages: Great neck, good build quality, value for money

I own a Fender Stratocaster 1962 reissue guitar that I purchased way back in 1989. This guitar was manufactured in Japan at some point during 1988.
This guitar is something that I am pretty fond of, what with it being my first "proper" guitar, and at the time taking me the best part of a year to save up for!
I purchased this guitar from Peter Cook's music shop in London...
