The gift of my swan bread maker SB1010

...My daughter has always sung the praises of her bread maker to me and the gifts of freshly cooked bread were certainly a welcome treat. I expressed an interest in owning one myself. On mother's day this year my son surprised me with a lovely gift- a Swan bread maker SB 1010! Never having used a bread maker before the first loaf was very experimental. I tried and failed to make sure that the water added in the recipe was just the right temperature, buy heating it first. Consequently the loaf sunk sadly in the middle. On my next attempt I used water directly from the cold tap and was delighted with the result- a well- risen golden loaf accompanied by an appetising aroma! Dansai 1010? Can't be the YEAR it was made..?

Advantages: Cheap in comparison to most other DVD players; fits in with mod cons; plays almost anything
Disadvantages: support (or lack of it); not sure about if it could recover after a knock

A 10 for the HP Laserjet 1010

Advantages: very fast, 8mb memory
Disadvantages: quite big

...Ok so finally deciding to opt for a mono laser rather than another colour inkjet I decided to go online and shop for the newest and funkiest on teh market. Dansai 1010 - cheap as chips!

Advantages: Very Cheap! Unlockable!

...Ok so very expensive chips but thats the best title i could come up with! When I bought this product it was very cheap at the time £70 from Tescos. The main selling point for me was the price. However there is an extra bonus to be had because the dansai 1010 can be unlocked via the factory settings in your own home to turn it into a multi-region DVD player making the price of the DVD player even better for what you get for the money! APPERANCE A nice cool silver colour (noticing a trend in the products that I buy-there all silver!) and the buttons are ergonomically designed to fit in just right to the front of the player. There are all the basic buttons on the front such as play stop etc. but you will need the remote to operate the other functions (see features). Advantages: Good Prints, Fast, No Warmup Time
Disadvantages: Non Refilable Toner Cartridge, Prone to Jam

...In my companies front counter we used to have an old samsung laser printer, the main good things about it was that the cartridge was unscrewable so the toner could be refilled and it gave good prints but the downside was that it takes almost 30 seconds to warm up before you can print, and thats everytime if you leave it idle for more than a minute. Because of this the boss bought the HP1010 printer. To start with it was great, quality was outstanding, very quick printing, easy to use, no warmup time. We tried some thicker paper, which we had used in the samsung fine, in it to make better invoices but it kept jamming every couple of prints, so we went back to normal paper but it still jams, only every 4-8 prints!!! We also found out the only way to refil the cartridge was to cut a hole into the reservoir as you can guess it didn...

...As most members on here will by now know, I am a professional photographer and some may well also be aware of the fact that I do a lot of camera testing. I have been testing some point and shoot digital cameras for the last week to find out just how good they really are and will now spend the next few days reviewing them for you guys starting with the Olympus MJU 1010. This Olympus camera comes in either silver or blue with a pink one to be added soon I believe, It looks good and feels good (if a bit light) in the hand but the actual using of the camera is very fiddly due to the small buttons and the dial being very small. The actual pictures produced by the camera varied dramatically depending on the settings used. With a large 10.1 megapixels at your fingertips you would expect to be getting very clear and colourful pictures...
