The Fiat Punto - An ideal First car!

Advantages: Cheap to run and Fun to Drive, Excellent Value for Money
Disadvantages: Safety, Style

...I began driving this time last year and my first car was and still is a Fiat Punto 1.2 S, T-reg 1999, 3 doors. For a student such as myself, I would say that it is an ideal first car to have and I have thoroughly enjoyed driving it. It is not lightning quick and insurance is cheap! Obviously because of the age of my car, it is not going to set the world on fire, but I have been very pleased with it so far. I paid £750 for it from an auction and two years previously it had been bought for £4,200! Luckily for me, it has so far been very reliable and I hope that it will last me until next year when I will sell it before I go to University. The Fiat 500, is the best small car out there

...The new Fiat 500, in my opinion is the best small car out there. Its small, sassy, economical, and a delight to drive. We purchased this car last year, and have been absolutely delighted with it. While it seems all the other car makers were going for economy and size, Fiat did this with the 500 but also built in a great retro style interior. The available optional extras just complement its overall style. When our friends and family see the car externally they kind of like it and generally think it dinky. However when they sit and view the interior, they are always surprised. We know two people who have since purchased this car after seeing it. Economy wise its been a real life saver regularily getting over 50 miles to the gallon. Performance wise, its very nippy and handles beautifully. Sometimes the drive can be a wee bit bumpy...

SMALL FAMILY CAR - FIAT STILO

Advantages: Cheap Tax, Cheap Insurance, Nippy little number

...Fiat Silo. This is one of the easiest cars I have driven and the interior is not too shabby either. The 1.9 JTD has quite a bit of power under the bonnet, looks deceptive. Plent of cup holders and storage space. The boot can easily fit prams, golf clubs or a months worth of shopping. The build quality is exceptional. The four door car which i have can easily handle 2 adults and 2 children quite easily. Any electronic problems are displayed behind the steering wheel with a full description of the icons displayed in the Owners Handbook. The downside i would say is when it comes to maintenance the bonnet is quite enclosed and very fiddly. Changing a lightbulb may require a trip to the main dealer unless you have tiny hands, although i would recomment a local garage as FIAT Dealerships can be quite expensive. However the customer...

CAR: The Fiat Panda You Have To Experience It

In September 2003 I passed my driving test and was extremely anxious to get a car of my own however my funds were low and insurance is a killer for teenagers. Living and driving with Fiat Punto

...Why, of all the cars on the market did I choose to buy a Fiat Punto? I have to admit that I only considered this car because I had been driving one on hire for a few months. When I looked at the vehicles available, Fiat seemed to offer good value. Have I come to regret this decision? I bought an ?98 registered vehicle in early 2000, and have driven about 16,000 miles since that time. So what are the pros and cons of this vehicle? This isn't the current model, but the immediately previous one wnich is very commonly available second hand.
