...Ok, here's a quick run down of my thoughts on the 360, probably throw in a few comparisons with the PS3, won't bother too much with the Wii since it's not really what I would class as a serious games machine, good fun in short spells or with "non-gamers" but that's about it. Had the 360 for a couple of years now, I was seduced by Halo 3 having been addicted to the first 2 games on the original, I'm a little bit of a FPS nut so I'm well covered with the 360 as that seems to be the systems main genre as it was with the original. It's probably been the most fun system I've owned since the dreamcast (class machine, sorely missed) or the mega drive (Genisis for anyone on the wrong side of the Atlantic). ...Power is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of the xbox 360 elite, it has a huge 120GB hard disk drive and the graphics seem to run alot smoother that the original xbox 360 for some reason. I had the original xbox 360 but that died on me about 2 weeks after buying, microsoft seem to have sorted out these little issues that kept crashing the system. The elite has a HDMI port which means you can connect this straght into your HD socket on your tv, I have a 42 inch plasma and i thought the graphics was good on my old Xbox 360 through a scart lead but once i plugged this in i was blown away! The graphics are amazing, perfect detail can be seen on the games that you play. You get the HDMI cable with this system too which is just great as they are quite exspensive to buy, you also get one black wirless controller and a headset...

...I have previously owned two Xbox 360 Premium consoles in the past. I decided to purchase again with the release of Halo 3. Overall I\'m very happy with the Elite. Its main advantage over the Premium is the larger 120GB hard drive. Compared to buying a console and the larger hard drive it represents good value for money. If you want to download lots of demos and not have to worry about lack of space then the bigger drive is definitely worth it. If you just want HDMI then that should now be available on the Premium console. Another thing that I have found with the past two consoles that I have owned run rather loud. The Elite seems to be slightly less noisy but this still depends on what DVD drive you get in your system. Unfortunately it is down to luck which one you\'ll get. Personally, I cant see any benefit in anyone wanting to do this which will hopefully see EA remove the cost or even remove the feature for Fifa 11. The match Whichever mode you decide to play, the actual match action will decide whether this game is a hit or miss. Comparing the match with Fifa 09 initially will leave you wondering exactly what the difference is. ...Xbox live is undoubtedly one of the main draws of the Xbox 360, and due to the fatc my Xbox was too far from a wired internet connection, i had to find a wireless way. The official wireless adapter seemed the best choice, widely availble, and being official, pretty much guaranteed to work. And thats true, it worked, very easily, simply plugging into the back, then scanning for connections on my xbox, then at the push of a button I was connected. It is a very good piece of kit, however it is rather expensive, as its counterparts for laptops and PCs would be available much cheaper. I have had some issues with the internet choosing not to connect, but these are rare, and on occasions the connection can be rather slow. I would stioll recommend this nonetheles, as it is a reliable piece of equipment that allows Xbox 360 users...

However, when you pay in the region of £200 plus for any console you expect a flawless system, this is not the case with the Xbox 360 Elite. The first noticeable difference from Microsofts first installement in the 360 series is the colour. The new polished black matte finish is definately a striking feature and this itself sets it apart from its predecessors.
