The Best FIFA game of them yet

Advantages: Advanced version of 09' which was still awesome.
Disadvantages: Hard to play the game and adapt to the changes from FIFA 09. Passing, Dribbling etc...

...FIFA 10 is an even more advanced version of FIFA 09, believe it or not. I can stay up for hours playing this game and the only thing that would stop me from playing would the need for sleep. I thought FIFA 09 was deadset the best FIFA game I had ever played. But this version has exceeded my expectations ten-fold. Not a whole lot has changed tournament wise, online wise or area wise however The new manager mode and the new BAP (Be a Pro) mode where you can put your own face on the player which you have created is an effect I never thought I would ever see happen in the gaming industry. EA have done it all with this game and it is a MUST play. In this game it seems like you have to fight for the ball more than you would in any other game. If the player who is marking up against you is a STRONG opponent he will win the ball 80...

FIFA 10 - the game suitable for anyone

Advantages: The new movements
Disadvantages: It's kind of predictable

...FIFA 10 is probably the best Xbox game I have ever played! I do not think it is just because I am really into sports, the game just simply makes you addicted... The online-features are not the only thing that has been improved a lot compared to the earlier editions. The movements and the action is extremely well-done and it kind of feels that you really are playing the game, for real! Even though FIFA 10 mostly has positive features there are still some things that needs to be improved for the upcoming editions... Let me explaine: When ever you will take a shoot you know before it goes away wether it will go in or the goalkeeper will make a save. That is not very funny to know before it even gets there, right? So I guess it is kind of easy to predict what is going to happen, even before it really happens... But overall I think this is...

FIFA 10

Advantages: Hours of Play, Smooth Gameplay, Variety
Disadvantages: Commentary, Glitches (See review)

...As a fan of the FIFA series since the 07 edition I was looking forward to this games release well in advance, pre-ordering months before it was hitting the shelves. I generally start of disliking the new game in the series, not liking most of the changes and generally being in a strop about how they've made everything worse - this year was no different. It's mainly because I get beat all the time when I first start playing. Onto the game itself : ~~~Gameplay~~~ The big change this year is the addition of '360 dribbling'. This is different because instead of only being able to move in 8 different directions in previous titles (45 degree increments), you are now able to move much more freely in just about any direction you want. To take advantage of this though, you can't be sprinting, which at first really annoyed me, thank...

Fifa Manager 2007 Computer Game

Advantages: Super impression of being a football manager
Disadvantages: Fairly addictive game once started.

...FIFA Manager 2007 (PC) Introduction Here the game involves starting off as a new manager for a club of your choice. There are so many British, European, and other International sides to manage. The game involves almost every aspect of managing a football side. This game is not an action sports game like FIFA 08, this simply involves managing a football club. The choice of which team to manage, is yours. Upon starting a manager is given a budget to work with, fan's and the club's directors expectations level to meet. The ambition of a team such as Manchester United or Chelsea would usually be to finish in the top 3 of the league or to win the Premier League in that season, or win the Champions league etc. If failing to meet these expectations, or losing too many matches, the manager is sacked. If people do well, people can...

Lets Fifa 10

Advantages: An almost perfect football simulation
Disadvantages: Some would say its Fifa 09 all over again

...Introduction I wasn't intending on getting Fifa 10 until Christmas but when I saw it advertised for under £25 on the day of release, I had to rush out and buy it as I knew it would never be as cheap as this again until well after Christmas. I had played the demo a few weeks before the actual release, and while the game was good, it didn't look that much different from Fifa 09 which I had only owned for 6 months. With this scepticism, I loaded the game up and began wondering if I had just paid £25 for the same game. First Impressions After sitting through the introduction of Wayne Rooney evading a slide tackle from Frank Lampard, you get to the main menu. Now call my cynical but it appears that Electronic Arts may also think that consumers will have trouble identifying the new features of this game as they have...

FIFA 09 best football game yet!

Advantages: Graphics, Be A Pro, Gameplay
Disadvantages: Can eventually get repetitive unless played online

...FIFA... as far as I'm concerned the best football game available. I have always been a fan of FIFA over PES and have been involved in many arguments on this topic. However this time there is no argument needed. FIFA 09 is so much more advanced than PES this year having played both. Be A Pro Mode: Although this was on FIFA 08 nothing was really made of it. However on FIFA 09 you can play 4 seasons with a created player or anyone already in the game. It has levels ranging from reserve team to legend. This mode is addictive and will have u playing for hours trying to get your star to the next level and eventually a legend (assuming your good enough). Manager Mode: The same as in FIFA 08 and 07 basically just play through seasons playing as the whole team of your choice and managing them as you go. The gameplay is much improved from...

FIFA 09 is a simply brilliant game

Advantages: Flowing gameplay, Superbly realistic feel
Disadvantages: Soundtrack, Crowd

...When you delve into FIFA 09, with its exceptional portrayal of the beautiful game, and its stunningly life like graphics, you get the feeling that you are actually walking out onto the sacred St. James? Park turf, with the likes of Michael Owen and Obafemi Martins. The atmosphere is electric and the growing anticipation in the stands helps to harmonise the stunning graphics and fluent football. With the excitement and tension, almost as good as the real thing, the game has dramatically improved over the last year, with the flowing Brazil like movement, and constant end to end football, making FIFA 09 one of the true great football games of the last decade. One of the main aspects of the game that has improved since FIFA 08 is the precision which you are able to deal with, in fundamental areas, such as, shooting, crossing, heading...

Has FIFA created the best FIFA so far?

Advantages: Detailed graphics
Disadvantages: lacks that game play of its earlier versions

...Playing FIFA 10 for the first time when it came out was abit of a dissapointment to be honest. I felt the game was good to play as it brought new characterisitcs to the game but it lacked that edge that FIFA 09 brought when comparing to the version before hand. I feel that FIFA have concentrated to strongly on creating better graphics that it lacks that excellent game play that FIFA's rival Pro Evo is so good at developing. Yes Pro Evo has its draw backs that FIFA strives in such as graphics and that extra detail what creates an excellent game so i still agree FIFA is the better game. The biggest problem that FIFA has is that it ignores the important area what gaming needs; the simplicity. Can you remeber FIFA 99 for the Playstation 1, how amazing was that game? The reason was the simplicity, the game was unique, it ignored the cutting...

Another Year, Another FIFA Game

Advantages: Aesthetically Superb
Disadvantages: Single Player Becomes A Bore Very Quickly

...Most of us in the gaming fraternity are familiar with EA Sports and their FIFA series. EA are giants of the gaming world, owning rights to a host of lucrative money spinning games franchises such as Harry Potter, James Bond and The Sims. FIFA is their long running football franchise established in 1995. The reason for lot?s of the success in the early days was down to the lack of real challengers in the football games market. In recent times however that has changed with the emergence of ?Pro Evolution Soccer?. Widely considered to have the better gameplay, Pro Evolution has stolen most of FIFA?s thunder in recent years, however FIFA has one main weapon in their arsenal; Licensing. FIFA 2005 has more than 350 official licenses, including 20 leagues, 40 national teams, and 15,000 players. Everything aesthetic about FIFA 2005 is...

Fifa 08, A Great game!

Advantages: Awesome online play, Great graphics and even Better Manager mode!
Disadvantages: Sometimes the online mode loses connection

...Overview Fifa 08 is a football game made by EA, It has over 100 licensed teams and many game modes to choose from! Game play The game play is the best I've seen yet from a football game, It is very smooth and there are many camera modes to chose from to make it comfortable for every sort of gamer. The 'Manager mode' game mode is one of the best features in the game, You choose a football team to manage throughout seasons. You get to play each of the seasons games and get presented with trophies at the end of it, This mode is extremely addictive. Graphics The graphics are in Fifa 08 are great for a sports game, There is great detail in the players faces and in their football kits. I've had this game for 3 months now and I've not noticed one freeze or one dropped frame. The detail in the fans could be alot better... Online...
