Wow a review on a petrol station

Advantages: Convenient
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as the nearby Tesco filling station

...I saw this as a review and seeing as I regularly top up at thsi particular station, I thought Id let you all know about it.. although I have to admit Filling Stations dont spark much much interest! This BP branded garage is situated on the infamous North Circular Road (A406), and can only be accessed when travelling eastbound. It is about 1 mile past the East Finchley turning. It is easy to see and so you shouldnt past it by mistake. That said, this is one of the few places on the A406 where there isnt too much traffic so you could whizz past it if you are speeding (would serve you right!) It is clean and large, and has the full range of unleaded, LPG and diesel fules. It can get busy, but I dont usually have to queue for more that 5 mins. One of the better things about this garage is that it has a 'BP connect shop...

This all sounds very good to me; reduction of wrinkles without anything more scary than a bit of cream. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... The packaging is similar to most of the other Soap and Glory products, and is very reminiscent of the advertising in the 1950s. ...The Station Agent is an extraordinary film for a number of reasons. The first is that it is stunningly simple in story and script and yet intriguingly complex in theme and emotional resonance. ...I never really expected to ever write a review on my local Petrol Station because it is something that has always been there and I suppose it is the sort of place that I have always taken for granted. However the inspiration behind this review came on Christmas Day morning when driving past here I noticed that it was not only one of the few Filling Stations that was actually open for business as usual in my home City of Sheffield, but that the Supermarket that is attached to this place was also open, fully functional and packed to capacity with people buying last minute items like Milk, Bread and Cigarettes. ...a tin foil container. When you see them you immediately know that the pastry is a very `short` shortcrust because the lovely soft pastry has crumbled away from the edges in places. Each mince pie has a tiny pastry `snowflake` sitting on the top of it and the pie has a liberal sprinkling of sugar. We prefer to eat our mince pies warm it always seem to bring the flavour out so much more. When you take your first bite into the mince pie the filling is very rich and tasty and the fruit has obviously had a touch of rum or brandy essence to add that festive taste. A generous sweet filling, definitely a case of more filling than pastry here. The pastry just melts away with the filling and if anything the crust could be a touch thicker. ...Tesco deep filled mince pies I usually make my own mince pies, but this year I thought I would take the easy way out and buy some so I trialled Tesco deep filled mince pies. They cost 99p per 6 pack, these mince pies are on offer at the moment 2 for the price of 1 that is 17p per pie if you buy 1 pkt 8.5p per mince pie if you get the free one. I trialled some of these the other day and decided they were good enough for our Christmas. The sell by/use by date is the first week of January if you buy them now. Packaging The mince pies come in a red packet and the six pies in their foil case sit in a red plastic tray. ...B&Q Oil Filled Radiator Bought one of these around 6months ago our heating wasn't going to be working for a couple of weeks so bought this for the bedroom. Went to B&Q as knew they had quite a selection didn't want a huge one as we don't really have much room in the bedroom. We bought it as a replacement for the halogen that we had been using which the dogs kept walking past and singing their tails in. It takes quite a while to heat up even when it is on full power but once it is warm it is more than enough to warm our bedroom up. It has various settings of heat so once the room is warm you can turn it down which is a really useful feature, the dial for doing this how ever does not have numbers on it and I do think it would benefit it if it did so you could turn it down a set amount and know which setting you usually use...

I like to get my fill!

...I have been getting fed up of eating the same soggy sandwiches for lunch so when I saw Ginsters Deep fill Cheese and Onion Slice starring up at me from the fridge at the local shop I couldn't resist! What is it? Tasty mature cheddar and mozzarella cheese, combined with fresh potato and onion in creamy sauce, baked in a light puff pastry. And it really is tasty! My mouth is instantly full of flavour and I can't wait to have another mouthful. It is a good size enough to fill me up at lunchtime, it's great to have alternative. I prefer the slice to the Cheese and Onion Pasty that Ginsters also make; this is because on the Slice the pastry is thinner and not so hard to bite into. I also find the pasties a little too heavy. Price: The Slice cost me £2 at my local BP Garage but the price will vary. How it can be eaten...
