Final Fantasy X: Awesome

Advantages: Great story, graphics (for PS2), music, characters, length
Disadvantages: Not my favourite Final Fantasy, no world map, not a new game

...The Final Fantasy series, developed by Square, has achieved incredible popularity and success since the first installment on the NES. They are very influential role-playing games and have solidified this genre's place alongside others. Final Fantasy XII is the most recent release and number XIII is to be released soon for the latest generation of consoles. An interesting fact is that every FF title is set in a different world with different characters and locations. I first heard of the series during the massive marketing campaign for number VII when I was about 10 years old, but it was only once VIII was released that I got to play a Final Fantasy. Another Final Fantasy?

Advantages: Plot, graphics, characters, sound...
Disadvantages: Long - at least 40 hours, can be repetitive and tedious, license system

...I have to admit I have always been slightly addicted to the Final Fantasy games, when I have time to play them - which at the moment isn't a lot. Final Fantasy XII - Be prepared for hours of gameplay

Advantages: Long game with lots to do. Some tough enemies to catch you off guard
Disadvantages: Storyline and character interaction is a little weak

Final Fantasy XII; simply fantastic.

Advantages: Seemingly neverending gameplay. Stunning sound and graphics. Addictive gameplay.
Disadvantages: No multiplayer functions. That's about it.
