Final Fantasy XII - Be prepared for hours of gameplay

Advantages: Long game with lots to do. Some tough enemies to catch you off guard

Final Fantasy X: Awesome

Advantages: Great story, graphics (for PS2), music, characters, length
Disadvantages: Not my favourite Final Fantasy, no world map, not a new game

They are very influential role-playing games and have solidified this genre's place alongside others. Advantages: Seemingly neverending gameplay. Stunning sound and graphics. Addictive gameplay.
Disadvantages: No multiplayer functions. That's about it.

SquareEnix made many changes in this game, the field exploration element is more real-time compared to the other FF series, the battle system is also real-time battle. There's no screen change when battle occur like other FF series. Battle just commence as players attack monsters or aggressive monsters attack players. This system is adapted from Final Fantasy XI (online).
