Advantages: Seemingly neverending gameplay. Stunning sound and graphics. Addictive gameplay.

...What can I say about the Final Fantasy series of role-play games? Is it one of the most successful games series in video gaming history? Does it captivate its player from beginning to end? Advantages: Great story, graphics (for PS2), music, characters, length
Disadvantages: Not my favourite Final Fantasy, no world map, not a new game

...-have if you have a PS2 and don't hate role-playing games. It's a truly great Final Fantasy but I slightly prefer my all-time favourites, FF VII, VIII and IX. This would still land in my top 10 games of all time. (Review also at Dooyoo)...

Another Final Fantasy?

Advantages: Plot, graphics, characters, sound...
Disadvantages: Long - at least 40 hours, can be repetitive and tedious, license system

SquareEnix made many changes in this game, the field exploration element is more real-time compared to the other FF series, the battle system is also real-time battle. There's no screen change when battle occur like other FF series. Battle just commence as players attack monsters or aggressive monsters attack players. This system is adapted from Final Fantasy XI (online). ...ever. The usual monsters-Ifrit, Shiva, and Bahamut-come back, but they are joined by new faces as well. The amount of detail on Ifrit's body is spectacular. And Shiva returns looking better than ever. The other summons, or aeons as they're now called, also look great, but it's always a treat for the Final Fantasy fans to see the progression of the familiar summons. Final Fantasy X features a wide assortment of enemies, too, but you'll notice that many are simply swaps of previous enemies. That's not really a problem, though, because there are so many different enemies to fight in the game. And in keeping with the Final Fantasy tradition, bosses are very good and very plentiful. Final Fantasy X's graphics are great in every aspect, but the music is also another strongpoint that most games will never equal which makes this a fab game...

Background Set two years after Final Fantasy X, this game follows Yuna and Rikku as "Sphere Hunters". Added to the party is a third character, Payne. There are the only three characters you can play as, which is disappointing after the choice of 7 through much of the previous game. A "Sphere Hunter" are groups of people who are looking for... well... spheres! These can contain movies and Yuna has found one which appears to have Tidus (from Final Fantasy X) on it. ...****Final Fantasy x-2 **** Having played and completed several final fantasy games when this one came out i had to buy it. Final Fantasy games all have a story and this is no different.
