Disadvantages: delivery time is not clear - phone sales reps have bad attitude (or at least the one that I spoke to did)

...hadn't ordered this book instead of the one that I wanted and it turned out that I was right and they had sent the wrong book. Well, after a few calls to an "bad attitude" customer service rep and after they had told me that the book that I really wanted would take another 10 days I decided to cancel the order and request that my credit card be refunded. I still needed the book! I called my local book store "Baytree Books" in Waterlooville - they ordered it and the next day it was ready to be picked up. So what did I gain? What did I loose? I lost my confidence in Amazon for one - although it has to be said that on all the other occasions my orders were completed on time and without mistakes. Advantages: Short, sharp and an old fashioned chilling horror!

Review of Independant Stores

Finding Neverland: such a sad film!

Advantages: Amazing and inspiring storyline.
Disadvantages: Kate Winslet is the main female role.

Finding Nemo

Advantages: Great family film!
Disadvantages: Different from other Disney films

...I loved this film. I really like the animation, it is really quite different from the animation in other Disney movies but it still has that Disney feel to it. The story is about a little clown fish called Nemo, who is caught by a diver and taken away from his father and the reef that they live on. Once caught, Nemo is taken and put in a fish tank with other fish who try to help him escape so he can return home. Nemo's father, in turn, has embarked on a journey to try to find his son with the help of a companion he finds on the way, Dory. This is a really funny film and it is really amusing seeing the colourful and hilarious characters that Nemo and his Father meet whilst trying to find each other again. Advantages: Special products, great for children, good quality and nice staff

The sales team are very good at making you believe that you need a particular item. Money Saving Store!

Advantages: Great bargains to be had.
Disadvantages: Staff look a bit misserble.

Great Value General Store

Advantages: good prices, good value , good range
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind

...There are not too many General Stores about these days but one that stands out for quality and value is undoubtedly Wilkinsons mor affectionately known as WILCO'S. Here you will find a whole range of goods from household cleaning materials to bubble bath and gardening products to pet food. In fact you can buy just about anything for the home, family or garden from here. Wilkinson's can be compared to how Woolworth's were a few years ago and shopping there is a truely pleasurable experience. I regularly purchase goods from them and have no complaints about the quality or price. They are competetive in price with other local retailers and you will always find a bargain there.
