...Finders Keepers is a children's TV gameshow that started in the 90's (although it has also been updated more recently too). The show is set in, what can only be described as, a giant doll's house. There are two teams of two, and each team take it in turns to find various objects within each room of the house to gain points. The winning team, then go through to the 'Super Search', where top prizes can be won! To review this, for me, is more of a nostalgic thing more than anything else, as not only did I used to love this show, but I was also on it when I was 11...all those years ago! The show originally was presented by Neil Buchanan (who also did 'Art Attack' - if you've never heard of that show, then shame on you). AC Nielsen Fact Finders

Advantages: Quick and easy to do. Good rewards.
Disadvantages: Small problem with redeeming reward points on-line.

...I have been scanning my shopping with Fact Finders for over a year now and have had no problems. The setting up of the wand at each scanning session is a bit of a bore as you have to go through the when,who and where bit for each shop but apart from that I enjoy scanning. It does not take long. The wand is easy to use and when not in use sits hidden away on a bottom shelf - I put it there because several people thought it was a phone! The Customer Service department is excellent and regularly get in touch to remind you to scan your top-up shopping and if there are any surveys to do. When an electrical storm killed my scanner there was a replacement within a couple of days and the old scanner was returned to Fact Finders where they managed to retrieve the data. I have not had any problems with the phone ringing in the middle...

...I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I bought My Sister's Keeper: I'd read reviews saying how great it is, but the cover seems designed to appeal to women who like the kind of sentimental 'chick lit' that I can't stand. Or maybe I dislike it just because I'm not a great fan of children. The last thing I was expecting was a debate concerning various issues of 'designer babies' that would challenge my own opinions and present the issue in a refreshingly different light. Well, it wasn't exactly the last thing because I read Vanishing Acts before I got this one, but you get the idea - I was very pleasantly surprised. The first thing that sets this novel apart from others is that it tells the story through different characters using a first person narrative, conveying how they think and feel without revealing the whole story at once...
