...The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered. The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too. The menus are friendly and easy to navigate, and there are helpful explanatory prompts that appear on thew LCD screen when the mode-dial setting is changed. Fuji FinePix F70EXR - slimline super-zoom

...The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is billed by the manufacturer as the slimmest 10x zoom camera on the market and, at less than 23mm in depth, it is certainly very easy and convenient to carry around. The zoom is great for magnification, being the equivalent of 27-270mm in 35mm terms, but I found it to be a little fuzzy at the long end. There is also a 4x digital zoom for anyone who wants it. The camera is lightweight and nice and small. It is not an ultra slim camera, but despite this is still not chunky. On the front of the camera is the name Fujifilm in silver letering, in the top right corner are the words 8.2 mega pixels also in silver writing. ...I love this camera! I was bought it as a present from a photography obsessed relative and he wouldn't buy me rubbish. The package: digital FinePix camera Z10fd, Li-on battery NP-45, battery charger, handy strap, USB cable, A/V cable, CD-ROM and manual. Technical part: works on windows Vista, XP home, XP Pro, 2000 Pro. 7.2 mega pixals, 3x optical zoom and 2.5 incg LCD screen Handy extras (not supplied) - XD picture memory card and carry case. Memory card is deffinately recommended so you can take more pictures and a carry case would be nice although I don't use one as it's small and light enough to fit in the pocket of my handbag. Not being a camera person and never really using one before I found this easy to set up and install on my PC. Advantages: Compact, easy to use, packed with features, cheap.
Disadvantages: Needs a case and a bigger memory card.

...Being a digital camera novice and first time buyer I was looking for something with plenty of features that are easy to use. I wanted lots of facilities without the need to wade through a manual and a point and click style camera with easy editing and deletion. On having a look around the Finepix A330 seemed to fit the bill perfectly. The A330 is the bottom of its range. As such it has the fewest features but also is ridiculously simple to use. Fujifilm Finepix S1000fd the answer to my prayers!

Advantages: Everything! great pics, great value, great lense, great fun, and user friendly!
Disadvantages: Very few! bad battery choice (i.e. LR6 or FR6 AA's only), no mechanical image stabalisation!

...professional TV camera's) the Fujifilm far out shined most of its competitors by a mile! Check out the other Fujifilm Finepix's "s" ranges! as most componants are reused and swapped around in their models, so what is good for one, is good if not better for another!...

...I work as a photo processing assistant, I develop and print 35mm and a.p.s films, I print digital photo's and I sell digital cameras. There is still alot of question as to whether digital cameras produce better quality photo's than traditional cameras and to be honest there is no right or wrong answer, but if you want to be sure that you have captured your precious memories and you don't want to run the risk of finding out at a later date that your film has failed at that once in a lifetime moment, then digital is definately the right choice for you. So, the camera in question, the finepix z3 zoom. Is this a good camera? Personally I believe it is.
