...Fingerprints of the Gods is a deeply interesting and thought provoking read. Let me firstly say Hancocks' writing style is very easy to read and does not bog you down with loads of scientific jargon. The main thrust of the book is to question how long the human race has been on earth. He takes us from the high Andes to the pryamids of Egypt and even talks about a map of Antarctica, that showed the continent to be ice free! that was discorved in 1531 and was a copy then! His theories on the Incas and Aztecs are mind blowing, but it's the pyramids and the evidence he has collected about them that really make you sit down and think - hang on a minute the things I already know seem to be wrong. Microsoft Wireless Desktop With Fingerprint Reader

Disadvantages: Keyboard is not wireless.

Advantages: first class call reception and range, looks stylish, hard wearing, easy to use
Disadvantages: fingerprints seem to be attracted to the base unit

...first impressions were that it would be a magnet for the fingerprints from tiny hands and that it looked overly plain as in daylight it is a shiny black colour, but by night as the light fades the base and telephone gives off an eerie blue neon glow that looks fantastic. The base itself is heavy, deceptively heavy given that it is only 18 x 10 x 5cm in size while the handset weighs less than 80g measuring 16 x 5.5 x 1.5cm. The most important part of a cordless telephone in my opinion is durability of the handset, the ease of use and how it handles calls over varying ranges from the base unit. Packaging and Appearance The MS Fingerprint reader comes nicely heat sealed easy to open container. Inside is the bare minimum with simply the reader, an instruction manual and an installation CD. Its all very neatly packages and because of this fits through the letterbox nicely, meaning you don't have to worry about sitting up waiting for your delivery! Good features, but really only for Windows

Advantages: Fingerprint and/or password encryption, relatively cheap given the features, range of capacities
Disadvantages: Encryption requires running software and is Windows-only, protective cover not that protective

I'm not so worried about the cost of replacing the key (most are cheap enough to be nearly disposable now), but I was concerned about other people accessing my data.
