...I love iced finger buns. They are one of the classic kiddie treat from the bakery shop. Usually, finger buns are the size of finger roll baps and topped with a thick icing. Asda produce a pack of 6 iced finger buns, either the original with white icing or a strawberry version. I picked up the strawberry variety because they had been reduced from 74p down to 39p. The buns come in a plastic tray covered in a cellophane wrap. The buns are less wide than the individual ones you purchase in bakery stores but they are much thicker at 6cm and 9cm long - perfect FINGER food. The packaging isn't all that great because one you open the wrapping, it splits all down the side, leaving the buns exposed and likely to go stale. I had to wrap mine in Clingfilm to prevent this afterwards. The buns are joined together but they are easy to tear off...

...Finger Stalls With a finger which had been operated on and which has already been bandaged for a few weeks, it was imporatnt that I had something to keep the dressing vaguely dry. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... The finger stalls come in a pack of two in a small box with the instructions on the back. When I open the pack the two finger stalls are the same size and shape. They are made of pvc and are obviously finger shaped, quite large, presumably so that the fit all fingers. They are bigger than my finger plus dressing but this causes no problems once I have the strap in place. ...I love fish fingers, but I'm pretty fussy about what I eat, and whilst with many products I'm happy to just go with the cheapest brand available, fish fingers for me are always Birdseye. Most cheap fish fingers tend to be made from the mysterious 'Minced White Fish' which has the texture of mashed up cardboard and tastes like licking a sweaty armpit. You're probably thinking I'm exaggerating there, after all, nobody makes a habit of licking armpits . ...Harry has an awful habit of slamming doors at the moment, especially his bedroom one early in the mornings which can be a tad annoying! We're always worried he's going to catch his finger, and sadly that's what happened a week ago at 8.30am in the morning. We had to rush him to the local Minor Injuries Unit, and the nurse there administered some Calpol and a rather fetching looking bandage to protect his damaged little finger. He felt rather sorry for himself for a few days, but luckily his finger is on the mend now, and no major damage was caused! My family think the almond flavouring is pleasant. The high sugar content is obvious in the taste, and they smell like marzipan. I bought these because we had eaten them before and liked the taste, but that alone would not have been a good enough reason to buy them. It is getting a tradition at this time of year for my family to get back to the weight they were before last Christmas, so they can enjoy the feasting without feeling too guilty the next time around. Easy way to bandage your poorly finger.

...Ouch ouch ouch it hurts. I had a little accident last week I fell over and my finger got bent right back, it did hurt it flaming hurt lots. I did not think it was broken but knew best to try and bind it to the finger next to it so I did not keep trying to use the finger and it hurting. I was not sure how best to do this. The first thing I did was look in my first aid box. I found a Boots finger bandage and applicator. I decided I would bandage my poor damaged finger. I bought this a long while ago for a different finger emergency. Plenty of finger bandages left. There is 4 metres of 1.6 wide finger bandages. This bandage comes as a tube just the right width for a finger to be poked into. There is also an applicator this is a piece of plastic which fits over the finger. This applicator certainly makes applying the bandage easier...

This pack of sponge fingers was not too expensive it cost 62p Opening the packet I took out a sponge finger it measured about 8cm /3 inches long and about 1cm nearly ½ inch thick. These sponge fingers were a golden brown, one side covered in sugar the other side had BOUDOIR printed on it.
