No serious goalkeeper should be wearing anything but fingersaves!

Advantages: Protection from breaks and increased control
Disadvantages: Can be a bit strange at first if not used to fingersaves but easy to adapt to!

...I thought I would write this review as I have had a great experience with this product. I'm no professional, though play football at a respectable level and consider myself to be a promising young goalkeeper. I had never bothered with fingersave gloves before I broke my index finger in a game last year. I decided following it's recovery that I should invest in a pair of fingersave gloves. I must admit I had my reservations about these in particular with respect to mobility. I thought the bending of the fingers would be restricted too much but I was wrong. I invested in a pair of these and they have been brilliant, no problems whatsoever. If there is anyone out there not wearing fingersave gloves, then invest in a pair, because you only need to break a finger that refuses to heal properly and you've got problems. These gloves...

Adidas Fingersave Evolution ES3

Advantages: Good grip
Disadvantages: Gets uncomfortable after a while

...I bought a pair of Adidas Fingersave Evolution ES3 last season and they have been one of the best gloves i have ever worn. These gloves have good grip on the ball so you don't have to worry about doing a classic goal keeping mistake. On the fingers they have fingersaves which is rubber and stops your fingers from being dislocated, sprained or broken which is very handy when those fast shots come straight at your face. They look great and stylish and don't wear away as fast as much top gloves.They enhance your performance really well and it not wearing away helps a lot. The strap stays on and the velcro also does'nt wear away which helps a lot.Its great value for money and they last for about two seasons if your lucky.They are comfortable but if you keep them on to long they get uncomfortable....

THE Gloves on the market at the minute!

Advantages: Ideal for young keepers, hardwearing
Disadvantages: Bandage wrist too tight

...I haven't gone for a set of gloves for their "name" for quite some time, however recently I managed to damage the tendon in two of my fingers and needed a set of gloves where an individual finger wasn't bent back. Whilst looking for the gloves in the shop, I went through a number of gloves before coming across these. If you do buy these gloves, you will need to get a set which is two sizes bigger, otherwise you will never get the gloves off! However, despite this minor drawback, I instantly fell in love with them. Not only are they ideal for my Sunday league football, but I also have found that they do not "wear" as quickly if played with on an artificial pitch. ...I have been a goalkeeper for around ten years and I play to a good Sunday League standard. As such, I always try to find a pair of gloves that complement my ability whilst at the same time recognising that as an amateur player, I can't afford a new pair every game! Usually, I tend to target the top end of the market, spending around £50-£60 on a new pair of gloves.
