A Disappointing Finish

I've not experienced this with any other brand so far and to be honest this isn't a feature I would necessarily look for in a dishwasher product. ...dishwasher properly, especially the 'Warning do not use any products other than prepared dishwasher products', I had to spend the next hour cleaning out all the foam, gradually all my appliances, cooker, fridge, freezer e.t.c. started reappearing, and then there was the washer itself to clean out, took an absolute age. ...Rimmel London's I love lasting finish nail varnish comes in 13 shades and is touted as a long lasting hard wearing chip resistant varnish. Wellll not quite....! The colour range is decent enough, not spectactular but there are a few cool colours in there - I bought Black Cherries which is a cross between a burgundy and purple colour. The actual shade itself is awesome and although I usually wear two coats, one is actually enough for a rich colour. The finish is really glossy and the drying time is superquick even though it not spefically sold as a quick drying polish. Its cheap enough to buy, under £3 and seeing as I base my choices on price and colour it fits both criteria. My issue is that they say its chip resistant. What a crock! Advantages: Easy to use, nice smell, no need to use a lot so it'll last

Advantages: Stays matt, gives a flawless finish

...Maybelline wonder finish is a liquid to powder foundation, it's oil free and SPF15. When I saw this foundation in a shop I just had to buy it, oil free with a powder finish, perfect! I get shiny skin very easily so this foundation sounded wonderful. Inside the bottle it has a mixing bead so you shake the bottle before you use it to activate it, but be careful as it's quite runny when it comes out. I chose the ivory colour and it was a very good colour match on my skin. I'd advise moisturising you face before applying as the powder finish can cling to dry skin. The foundation is very easy to apply as it is of a thin consistency, a little bit goes a long way, and it dries quite quickly. It gives very good coverage and a flawless finish. mac studioe finish concealor...

Advantages: full coverage, lasts a long time
Disadvantages: drying - not good for under the eyes

...MAC studio finish concealor looks exactly like it does in the picture, weighs about 7g and is really heavy duty heavy coverage concealor costing about 22pounds if i remember correctly. The one I bought had an spf of 35 - and its really important to have spf in concealor as dark areas on the skin attract for sunlight making them darker! The concealor is solid but when warmed up under fingertip or with a concealor brush (and it really does look better with a brush) it becomes very creamy and once applied it dries in seconds.. while this great if your covering blemishes or dark spots on the face but if your applying this as an under eye concealor you might find it too drying and can even fall into the creasy - really defining those lines we like to pretend we don't have!!
