...on such a small handheld system. The main game play is also very good too. A really nice rendered 3D environment. Music: The music within the game is good. Some old and new themes such as Tifa's theme which any FFVII gamer will know how to sing and even play! Bad Points: The random generator is the downside to this game. You level up your materia by luck with the slot machine system that constantly rotates during battle. This gives the game the feel of 'your not in control' as it just isnt as good as pressing some buttons and unleashing that Fira on the enemies. Rate: All in All, If you are Final Fantasy Fan....Its a must buy. The scenes alone is worth paying for the game. However, if you are not a hardcore gamer. You might want to give this one a miss, as the FFVII feel is not really there. I suggest going out and buying FFVII...

...Akrotiri village. Akrotiri village is located to one of the cornerstones of Santorini, which is about 15min. from Fira by car, and near to more of the island's beaches. Ok, I selected the area so now I had to decide among 30 hotels. The bad thing was that most of them were hardly 4 star hotels. Then when I believed that I had run out of luck, I received the F.T. newspaper. You are now all asking how did receiving a newspaper helped? The answer is simple. While I was reading the newspaper I saw an article regarding Santorini island. The journalist recommended a family running hotel near Akrotiri village! The name of that hotel was Astarte suites. So I google on Internet found the site and it was just perfect for my honeymoon. I booked the tickets and the Junior suite with private jacuzzi for a 7night stay. The view from the window...

scenic santorini

Advantages: no mosquitos low key nightlife excellent beaches

This beach also forms part of perissa and a 20-25 minute walk leads you to this lovely resort full of character charm and lots of lovely sovenia shops also the place to buy your fruit and vegtables if you go self catering like ourselves. During the day perivolous is very busy with lots to offer but come 9.00 at night it is a very different atmosphere all that is open are the tavernas which are just finishing up so perfect for people who like to have a low key relaxing holiday. The food in santorini is like many of the greek islands but their own speciality is the chesse pie and anything to do with cherry tomatoes and grapes which is all they manage to grow being a volcanic island but are delious and sweet. thira / fira (same place) is a great place to sightsee and take lots of stunning pictures of the volcano which you can go to...

During combat you have the option to change into a different sphere, but this all depends on what you have equiped on you battle sphere and where it is placed (you can only swap to spheres that are connected). The more you use a specific dress sphere, the more points you get towards unlocking a new skill. So, as a black mage if you keep casting fire, you will eventually learn fira (or whatever skill you have chosen to learn!) I found this dress system very dissapointing. To me it felt that it was aimed at 5 year olds who want something different to their barbie dolls! Still refusing to give us a world map, we are given a lot more choice as to where we travel. Car and moped hire is reasonably priced and readily accessible so long as you have the relevant documents: Insurance, Drivers' License, Last Will & Testament- that sort of thing. The alternative to this would be the bus network. 'Network' is quite a generous term to be honest, all buses go to the capital Fira and from there you can get a bus to anywhere else on the island. This gives you a choice of about four- like I said, Santorini is a small place! The bus timetables are changed weekly and if you're lucky you will get the driver I had who looked (and drove) suspiciously like Otto from the Simpsons. Everest Kitchens. The real Nightmare from Elm Street

Disadvantages: Complete disregard for the customer, shoddy workmanship, misrepresentation of the product

...of the original kitchen and it's replacement should therefore have been a simple matter. Everest however proceeded to demonstrate their complete lack of attention to detail an to the care of their customers. The kitchen was removed and resulted in the destruction of the new tiling. The replacement units had the wrong size doors, the door handles were the wrong style, and so it started all over again. Please, please head my warning. In my own experience, Everest have proved that they are incapable of managing the installation of kitchens, and they should not be in the business of doing so. Furthermore, in my opinion, they have a complete disregard for the customer. It is also very noticable, that Everest have chosen not to become a member of any association, or to affiliate themselves to the ombudsmans scheme ( FIRA ) that regulates kitchen fitting...

Advantages: Amazing storyline, cutting edge graphics, a vast world to explore
Disadvantages: Awkward battle/magic system, no money for battles, monsters level-up with you
