...Fireman Sam - Set of 5 Articulated Figures We have a huge plastic box of plastic figures at work. When I was playing with them last week I found myself playing with these Martin Yaffe fireman Sam figures. These figures are also sold under the born to play label. I notice there is a set of 5 of these figures available including Sam. Tom, Penny, Nurse Flood and Norman. They all look identical to the tv characters dressed in their uniforms ready for action. The faces of these figures are more expressive have more character than Playmobil figures These figures are all about 9cm tall a good size for a child to grip and move about . They all have movable arms legs and head. Their hands cup shaped will grasp and hold the steering wheel of the fire engine. This set of figures is good very durable, will wash well in hot soapy...

Fireman Sam to the Rescue!!!

...Fireman Sam is a very popular children's character. This DVD was bought for my 3 year old who has taken a liking to him and especially Jupiter, the fire engine. The front cover of the DVD has a picture of Jupiter with Sam, Elvis and the Station Officer inside and above this is the title, there is also a small picture of the mountain rescue helicopter in the background. The back cover of the case is a nice bright yellow colour on the middle with the names of the 6 episodes and a bit about Fireman Sam. Around the edge of the back cover is a bright red border. THE DVD There are a total of 5 episodes on the DVD. 1 - Danger: Falling Sheep. ...Fireman Sam has been a favourite in our household for many years, I can?t say that I am a huge fan of the new Fireman Sam, I?m an old fashioned girl at heart, but I suppose it?s what the kids like that matters! This book is based on one of the stories from the S4C TV series and contains pictures from the episode. This Fireman Sam story is published by Egmont and is a board book measuring 15.8 x 15.8 x 1.6 cm, which I find a little big for the smallest of hands to cope with! It has a lovely bright red cover with a picture of Fireman Sam holding Bella the cat in his arms on the front. He has been revamped in the last few years but I am a fan of the earlier episodes [which is lucky as I have had to endure many, many hours of them over the years!]. This story is from one of the earlier episodes. Fireman Sam is a firefighter in the small, but very accident-prone, village of Pontypandy in Wales. ...OVERVIEW Another classic collection of Fireman Sam stories on this super DVD. Don't be fooled by the cover- this DVD is great for all year round as there is only one episode about snow. The characters in Fireman Sam are superb- Sam is a true hero with a great sense of humour and an exellent firefighter. Elvis loves his music and is a bad cook. ...This is a great favorite with both my son and daughter. Fireman Sam stories are well structured, good humoured and always great fun and this DVD offers 12 different episodes, each one with an interesting and amusing story. The characters are well drawn and include Norman, who always gets himself into trouble, Elvis the rather gormless fireman and his boss Station Officer Steele. Fireman Sam is uncle to the twins James and Sarah, who participate in the stories, and act in a way as a conduit for the imagination of the viewing children. Bella is the Italian cafe owner making pizza for the town. Based in Pontypandy the villagers work together, like one large family. ...Hi all I brought this game for my son at Christmas, he's a big fireman Sam fan and loves to play it. The game is very simply to use all you need is a dvd player and remote control, the cost of this dvd was £10.00 so I though quite good value for money. The DVD contains various levels you start at the beginning of pontypandy and complete different tasks to get to the end. The features in this game are Pontypandy puzzle Dressing up time Shop with Sam Fire engine fun Marvellous maze game Look, listen & match Crazy colours Tom to the rescue Safety with Sam Guess who? ...My son is a huge Fireman Sam fan I think we have nearly all of the dvds now apart from the new computer animated ones. The Fireman Sam series is a fictitious village set in Pontypandy in Wales, the real towns that the stories are based on are Pontypridd and Tonypandy. I remember a long time ago when Fireman Sam first came out on S4C in Wales! On the front of the cover is a christmas scene but there is only one christmas episode which my son was a bit dissappointed about. **Let It Snow** It is christmas in Pontypandy and there are no christmas trees at the garden centre, there is also heavy snow with a warning of more snow on the way. Norman Price goes off on his own with his sledge and dog to look for a christmas tree in pontypandy mountains, he manages to get snowed in a cave. Sam and the team head off to look for him...

...This is yet another superb selection of Fireman Sam stories-great for all the family. The chracters really come alive and there is a lot of humour. Beast of Pontypandy- in this episode, Norman's mum is watching 'Wierd But True', when a beast is shown. Norman has an idea- he decides to cover Woolly in mud and turn him into the beast of Pontepandy. As usual, Norman's plan doesnt go quite as he expects... 'Fit for Nothing'- In this episode, Penny really proves her worth. she demonstrates her fitness in a speedy rescue. She ends up with her picture in the newspaper and Fireman Sam congratulates her. ...My son is a big fan of Fireman Sam, we bought him this dvd a while ago and at the moment it is one of his favourites. Fireman Sam is set in a fictitious village called Pontypandy, the series first came onto S4C in the early 1980`s. Fun Run There is a fun run in Pontypandy, at the start of the race Norman price trips up the twins Sarah and james with his show laces, and poor Mandy lands up falling over some marbles. Norman gets ahead of the others and then turns all the arrows the wrong way so that the rest of the competitors get lost, only Wooly the sheep eats an arrow and Norman gets himself lost as well! A search party is launched with Sam in the fire engine and Tom in the helicopter, the kids spot the helicopter but Tom does not see them. Will Norman and the gang be rescued?! Trouble and Squeak...
