...After a busy day on my feet, traipsing around a shopping centre all I wanted was a nice film to watch in the evening with my glass of Baileys. Somehow I ended up watching Firewall. The first ten minutes of the film introduce you to Harrison Ford, a successful Head of Network Security for a Seattle bank, his wife Beth (Virginia Masden) and his two kids Sarah (Carly Schroeder) and Andy (Jimmy Bennett). Advantages: Familiar storylines, some okay suspense and acting (Paul Bettany)
Disadvantages: Firewall (2006) - disappointing

Advantages: Its free and provides extra protection for the security minded
Disadvantages: As with as firewalls can be intrusive

Well not much really, considering that the typical home user doesn't really have any secret documents that need to be hidden from "hackers". I don't particularly need it, but still use it as it's nice to know that there is something stopping someone invading your privacy, and hopefully will stop them destroying it! I already have one of these at work and have recently purchased another for an additional office. First and fore most the Superstack 3 has a good quality durable rack mountable design. Ports and LEDS on the front are clear and readable so there is no confusion in an other wise confusing technical world. The rack mounting kit is actually included with the purchase. Even when i use Mirc occaisionally the kiddies scripters cant get in through Sygate. This is because of sygate's port stealthing. This is very important in the way someone hacks your computer. Once someone gets your IP address they run a port scan to see which ports are open on your computer it is via these ports that they then can access and run riot and cause havoc. The same can be said for Worms and Trojans. With Sygate it stealths (hides) all of these ports to the internet.
