Second to none!

Advantages: A mix of songs, great lyrics
Disadvantages: Too many ballads

Not that he needs a second impression; Bedingfield has come a long way since making tracks from his bedroom. Advantages: Superb characters and scripts
Disadvantages: Too dark for some and humour a little black

...personally really like this because I think it gives long time fans the chance to get something else out of the episodes that they are watching. On top of this the references to previous events also in my opinion give the whole series a greater sense of continuity and make the team work and appear much more realistic. This box-set, covering the second half of series six, sees the team faced with a multitude of different cases that each have a different effect on them, their working environment and subsequently the audience watching everything unfold. Like with the first half of this series I did find myself feeling a little uncomfortable on a couple of occasions yet this ease of discomfort is actually something that I think is good for the show because it highlights how it is grounded in reality and therefore plays upon the ideas and fears...

A second chance for old friendships!

...I'd read a couple of books by Jane Green which I had hugely enjoyed so I was really looking forward to reading Second Chance and I was not disappointed! It was a hugely enjoyable read from the very first page based on a group of characters that it was really easy to get to know! The story centres on a group of people who were all friends while they were growing up but have since lost touch. The sudden and tragic death of one of them throws them all back together again at his memorial service and gives them a 'second chance' to renew their friendships. What they discover is, that even though they have not seen each other for years, the thing that makes them friends in the first place is the same thing that draws them back together again! Of course a lot has changed for all of them in the intervening years. Holly is in a loveless...

Everyone deserves a second chance

Advantages: Easy to read and enjoyable 'beach' book
Disadvantages: None

...I have always been a fan of Jane Green's books and have not found one that I didn't like. I try and get hold of a copy of any of her new books as soon as they are published in paperbacks as I can't stand the hardbacks! After waiting a little while longer due to lack of funds I finally got hold of 'Second Chance' and then after waiting again to find time to sit down and read I managed to finally finish the book a couple of days ago and so thought I would share my thoughts on this book. The author: Jane Green has written quite a few books now and they are all the 'chick lit/romance' type of books. She originally wrote for the Daily Express newspaper and became a writer when she wrote her first book 'Straight Talking' which ended up being a huge success. After that the rest they say is history and she wrote eight more books...

Fitness First...more like fitness second

Advantages: Close by, friends go there, free video library
Disadvantages: too many ppl are members which make it crowded, staff arent as friendly as before, too many machines in such a small area, dangerous floor tiles causes accidents etc

...Ive been a member of this facility for at least a year now and ive seen many changes since i joined and the truth is the changes have not been for the best but for the worse! I started going to FF when my mates dad used to get myself and my mate a couple of free guest passes which was cool as Fitness First was the new and hottest gym in town and at the age i was at the time probably 16 or so it was the place where all the young women were going so me and my mate needed to take advantage of having the guest passes. The first thing i thought when i went in there is actually i cant say cause it invloves happy swearing so basically i thought it was great. All around was these powerful men similar to the scene where Ivan Drago or whatever his name is(dolph lundgren) is at the gym in Rocky 5 getting all pumped up. I thought that could be...
