Fisher Price Garage... but not as you know it!
Review of Fisher Price Little People Range by
RClure
Advantages: Full of different things to play with
Disadvantages: Cars sometimes need a push out of the lift
...a petrol pump than when you press it, it makes an old-fashioned bell noise and also a GLUG-GLUG sound of it filling up the car. It has a moveable nozzle that is attached to the pump.
The garage comes with two vehicles, a small car and a tow truck as well as two mechanics but you can buy extras such as people and vehicles and remember, all the Little People toys are interchangeable so you can use people from other toys in the range.
As well as the ramps you have the old faithful… the lift. Personally I don’t fancy driving my car into a lift but there you go, as a kid, I loved it on my garage! This is the only bit I feel Fisher Price have let themselves down as, rather than the winding mechanism of the old version this just has a handle that you slide up.
Below deck there is a car wash with a ‘curtain’ of shreds of cloth, which you...

Fisher Price Shake and Go Doc Hudson Pixar Cars
Review of Mattel Cars Shake And Go - Doc Hudson by
Itstar77
Advantages: Very durable. Simple to use.
Disadvantages: Not much.
...This is one of Mattel's motorised Shake and Go toys from the Pixar CGI film "Cars" which are released under the Fisher Price banner. The film is incredibly popular with children of all ages and the merchandise is still selling well years after the film was released in the cinema.
This toy in particular is Doc Hudson, a former racing car who is now the town doctor and judge in Radiator Springs, the town in which most of the film is set. The toy has a reasonably good likeness to the character from the film. However, like the other toys in this line, it is stylised, presumably to accommodate the mechanism inside.
When you shake the car from side to side an engine start-up noise is heard. As you continue shaking a revving sound is heard. The more you shake, the further the car will go. Then you place the car down on the floor...

Fishy Fisher Price
Review of Fisher Price Aquarium Healthy Care High Chair by
eeyore220376
Advantages: Easy to clean, easy to use
Disadvantages: Can easily get very dirty and be hard to clean
...This high chair is made by Mattel owned Fisher price. It is, as you would expect, very sturdy. The chair itself is The high chair is not pre-assembled and is thus supplied in a variety of parts. The purchaser will need to fit together the seat to the legs, the cover etc... It's all very easy and shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Just use the supplied screws and fittings and your own screwdriver. Very easy and straightforward.
The high chair frame is metal, and the chair itself is plastic and as suggested filled with fishes. As can be seen from the picture, plastic corners are supplied (and will need to be fitted by the user) to prevent the metal frame from sliding on non-carpeted surfaces. A small toy is attached to the side with space for another left for the user. More toys can be picked up and attached if wished.
The high...

The House that Fisher Price built
Review of Fisher Price Play Family Fun Sounds" House" by
princesssoapy
Advantages: Amuses children (and adults) of all ages
Disadvantages: None at all.
...door. The family consist of a dad with glasses and a mum with a ribbon in her hair and a cute little baby.
I can't wait for my children to go to bed as I love playing with this playhouse as I pack it away confession over. My children will not let me anywhere near it during the day!
We were given a free video with this playhouse and it contains lots of animated little people which is what they call the figures that come with the playhouse and garage as well. This video is 25 minutes long and is called Fisher Price Play Family Volume 1 Big Discoveries. Callum and Lucy love this video but it does have a very annoying tune all the way through it.
I am sure that I have seen other play family accessories in Woolworths, like more of the figures and cars and I might be buying them as this toy is such a great hit!
If you do wish to see...

Amazing Fisher Price Strikes Again
Review of Fisher Price Amazing Animals Learning Train by
kirkytracy
Advantages: Durable, Colourful, Fun, lots of features
Disadvantages: Songs a bit repetitive
...which I have found available which are based on a similar theme but are not related to the train. There may be other animals or items that I have not come across.
-Overall-
I am extremely pleased with this purchase. When I saw the price I did wonder whether it was good value or if we were paying for the Fisher Price name. The toy is good quality and has wonderfully bright colours. With the add ons that are available I believe this will become one of my sons favourite toys. I have already suggested some of these for his Christmas presents to relatives. The only negative thing I have to say about the train is that it could have maybe had more songs to make it a little less repetitive.
-Other stuff-
Price £29.99
Add on push & pull cars £9.99
Amazing animals £5.99
The train can be bought from Toys R Us and Argos. The other add...

Fisher Price Has De-railed Here!!!!!!
Review of Fisher Price Amazing Animals Learning Train by
bazzaoleary77
Advantages: Sorry Fisher Price But None
Disadvantages: Just read on Very Little For Very Much
...For all those that have read my toy reviews you will now know that I am an avid Fisher Price fan well my children are of course lol. (Rich I do buy them for myself really)
I have noticed that I have written about all the Fisher Price products that I have been impressed with but here I am going to balance it up a bit with my review on the Fisher Price Amazing Animal Learning Train.
I bought this for my youngest about 9 months ago for £30 as it looked great and educational and seemed to really be yet another Fisher Price marvel but I must say I ended up wishing I had spent the £30 elsewhere.
One taking it home and opening it up it looked like I had spent a lot on very little. The train itself was very small and certainly had a lot more box than toy and was a nightmare to get out of the clips. Once I had eventually got it out...

Fisher Price Thermos Food Warmer
Review of Fisher Price Thermos Food Warmer by
kismet
Advantages: great for warming baby food
Disadvantages: bulky, heavy
...Once your baby starts eating more solid foot, then you need to consider meal times when you are out and about.
The Fisher Price Thermos Food Warmer is great for heating up either bottles or food.
FISHER PRICE THERMOS FOOD WARMER
Like its sister (Fisher Price Bottle Warmer), the thermos consists of a flask with a large blue lid. The lid is large enough to hold bottles like Tommee Tippee ones, or pots of food.
The thermos comes with one food pot, a handle to hold the food pot and a little spoon.
The food pots can be put into the freezer with food in.
You take the lid of the thermos off, and pour the water into it from the flask. The flask has a pouring spout, so that you only need to press a button, you do not need to unscrew it.
The idea is that the handle slots over the Fisher Price food pot, enabling you to lift...

Fisher-Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop and Roar Dinosaur
Review of Fisher Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop and Roar Dinosaur by
Fiona2403
Advantages: Great fun, occupies baby for ages
Disadvantages: quite pricey
...This dinosaur is another great toy by Fisher Price. Basically, the toy is shaped like a 3-d dino and baby can put 4 roll-a-round balls into any of the 4 holes you can see in the picture.
It is a brightly attractive toy, has plenty of noise features, but not too annoying when baby is putting the balls down the hols for hours on end! There are 2 noise settings for you to choose from.
The roll-around balls are see through plastic balls and each has a dino to look at inside them, each inside dino does a slightly different thing too when the ball is played with, eg one spins round, another peeps out from a dino egg.
There are 4 holes for baby to stick the balls through, each leading somewhere different for the ball to pop out of at the other end. 3 holes are musical, 1 is not. This unmusical hole simply deposits the ball out a little...

Fisher Price Learning Phone
Review of Fisher Price Learning Phone by
Angelpybs
Advantages: Sturdy. Display Screen shows numbers & letters
Disadvantages: Very low volume, misleading demonstration when in box
...My son got the Fisher Price Learning Phone for christmas. When we opened the wrapping paper we were so pleased with the toy as it seemed great when we played with it when it was still in the box but we ended up quite disapointed.
The learning phone is a "large" mobile phone handset type of toy phone which is very sturdy and you can even stand it up. (I've not had it very long so I can't really comment on wear and tear but it appears well made out of strong plastic). It's got lots of colourful buttons and a display screen. There is a simple on/off switch on the side of the phone. It takes three AA batteries. It says it is suitable from 6 - 36 months and that it teaches alphabet and numbers.
When you first see the toy in it's box it is in Demonstration mode which is really loud and my son couldn't wait to get hold of it - he...

Fisher Price-not just for toys!
Review of Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair by
Ruthiella
Advantages: Can be used earlier than other highchairs!
Disadvantages: None
.... The Fisher Price highchair, however, is unique in that it can be used from 3 months due to the reclining backrest which means that the child doesn't have to have progressed as far as unsupported sitting.
The chair comes in only one colour (white and blue) with a blue gingham plasticy seat. It has a 3 point harness and also a solid plastic bit for between babys legs to stop them sliding out.
In addition there is a teething toy cunningly attached to the removeable table bit which prevents the "throwing the toy on the floor" game!!
On the table bit there is a removable tray which means you can clean the underneath bit and then put the cover on to let the child play and the underneath bit will remain clean for finger foods etc.
The chair can be adjusted to 7 heights ranging from practically on the floor up to full height.
The price I have seen...
