Disadvantages: a couple activities were hard to do but have sussed it now!

...I'm starting 2010 off the way I mean to go on, (hopefully). My other half went and bought the Nintendo Wii for Christmas. I decided after hearing all the hype to go out and buy the Wii Fit Plus as a gift for myself. Thankfully unlike most holidays we didn't have family at our house so I didn't eat half as much as I normally would have! Once the family had a night of Wii mania I decided to get started with my new fitness regime. First things first I set up my Mii which is your game character. I made mine look as much like me as I could. The Wii will then ask you to enter your name, age, height and birthday. The worst bit comes next! It's now time to stand on the balance board and find out your BMI (body mass index) and weight. You will first be asked to estimate the weight of your clothing so that it can be subtracted from the total...

...Hi there! well let me start by saying we got our original wii fit in november 2008. Starting out with just the standard Wii fit & wii fit balance board and we upgraded to the wii fit plus in november 2009 so we've had it for around three months now. You still take the daily body test and it determines your bmi etc. The wii fit plus allows you to see how many calories you have burnt in each work out with its calorie count, youre able to pick specific areas of your body in which you want to work at and create your own personalized workouts which suit you! These can be saved and therefore you can just set it up and away you go every time! It has a multiplayer mode which means you can jog with another person - losing weight together is always easier than going it alone! It has new and improved games; they're mentally stimulating now...

...Nintendo Wii Fit (Wii Fit) I got Wii fit on Christmas day 2008 and ever since I have not got off it. I am a really big gamer and when I bought the Wii i thought it wasn't going to be good and it wasn't that good as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3, but when I got Wii Fit for it I have been playing it one hour a day every day. I do all kinds of exercises on it. Including Jogging, Push up's, Step aerobics and many more. It really is a good way of excerising because it is fun and you don't even know that you are excerising! Whats in the box... In the Wii Fit box there is not too much, there is a Wii fit balance board, Wii fit Wii game, Four AA Batteries and Manuals. What games is there on the Wii Fit game... There is all sorts of games on the Wii Fit, there is boxing, jogging, Push ups, side ups, step aerobics and many more...

...Right well the wii fit is just absolute central of gaming fun ! The board is very very stable and i have never heard of the board breaking or being damaged. There are all differnt things to enjoy of the wii fit with 4 different fit stations including : Yoga Mucsle Workouts Balance Games Aerobics And one other showing "favorites" When the wii fit first arrives at your home you can set it up in less than 10 minutes and start to enjoy! Unlocking new games and workouts as you go along by time or agility. Allthough after a few weeks once you have unlocked all games it can be a little boring, but as long as you have friends or family to play with it should be just as fun! ...As someone who has a bad back, and could also stand to lose a few pounds in weight, I finally gave in and bought the wii fit. Basically, all it consists of is a balance board and CD with the Wii Fit activities on it. Like the Nintendo Wii controllers it is completely wireless which is great for storage, when you finish you can just slot it under your bed or in a cupboard. ...The Wii board: The board itself is a pretty good size, big enough so you don't fall off all the time, but small enough to store easily. I bought a rechargable pack so I didn't have to buy batteries all the time but the batteries it came with have lastest absolutely ages which I was really impressed with as I was predicting buying batteries constantly as they would run out quickly but they don't at all. Body test: I was happy to see I was in the 'ideal' category but the line was a little too close to overweight for my liking! This part can be a bit awkward if you have friends or family who are overweight but they can do the body test in private and then add a password so no-one can see your weight or BMI if you don't want them to. My favourite part of the wii fit is yoga, I have yoga dvds but it's all too easy to not do the poses...

...The Wii Fits? sounds and music are average. The music ranges from up-beat tempo workout songs to new style tunes. If the player is using the Wii Fit to improve their fitness they will be wearing an MP3 player or IPOD so they can listen to their own style of music while working out. There are some specific audio cues for certain exercises and games that must be followed in order to score well but if the player is participating in these they will more than likely have turned their MP3 off so that they can hear. There is some in-game speech as well, from your on-screen personal trainer. Once the trainer walks you through the exercise, most of what is said after that is pretty much repeated most of the time. ...The first thing I noticed, when I opened the box, was the great hardware build quality. To me, the balance board has always looked very fragile in promotional pictures. I've seen people waving it around willy nilly so I thought it would just be lightweight plastic tat. It's actually a really sturdy, well made piece of equipment.
