...I bought my Wii Fit when it first came on to the market but after a while using it becomes quite frustrating and tedious so I have advanced to other programmes using the Wii in order to improve my fitness. When I saw that Fitness First were brining out a Wii Fitness programme I just had to give it a try. I placed and advance order with Amazon for the game and now I am pleased to say it has arrived. Out of the Box I have never really been known for my patience so it wasn't too long after the postman had delivered it before I had opened the case and put the disc into the console. Advantages: great for weightloss, fun for all the family, improves posture, balance and health
Disadvantages: expensive, can only register up to 8 family members

.... This is basically step aerobics where on the screen you are shown the steps to move through and can also see other characters (including the members of your family!) working out next to you. The first level of this is more to improve your co-ordination and get you moving but the advanced level is nearly a 10 minute workout and if you keep up with the speed of it can really get your heart pounding. A couple of rounds of this and you will be all sweaty and disgusting!! The steps all include the balance board and if you hit the steps perfectly in time to the beat you get a perfect and if you hit it slightly off you get an ok - this all relates to a score so as with all the other wii fit activities there is a scoreboard. Keeping fit

...means completely rubbish, but I feel that they do not in anyway enhance the experience of the Wii Fit. When you are spending the amounts of money that you pay for Wii Fit you would expect to get the best, most positive experience that you can. I first tried out the Wii fit a few months ago. I believe this game is great step forward in getting children to be active. The games on Wii are engaging and challenging. Many of the games are intended to help improve balance and posture. Others, like the jogging game, are intended to increase heart rate for cardiovascular exercise. Yoga is also available to help with stretching and balance. The Wii Fit also allows the player to track their progress in weight loss and balance. As the player continues to try out new games and score higher they can unlock more games and yoga positions. ...The first thing I noticed, when I opened the box, was the great hardware build quality. To me, the balance board has always looked very fragile in promotional pictures. I've seen people waving it around willy nilly so I thought it would just be lightweight plastic tat. It's actually a really sturdy, well made piece of equipment. You connect it to the Wii like a wiimote and the software also installs a special Wii Fit channel on the main menu. So, onto the Wii Fit software. As with Nintendo's other games, your profile is saved under your Mii. ...Nintendo Wii Fit (Wii Fit) I got Wii fit on Christmas day 2008 and ever since I have not got off it. I am a really big gamer and when I bought the Wii i thought it wasn't going to be good and it wasn't that good as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3, but when I got Wii Fit for it I have been playing it one hour a day every day. I do all kinds of exercises on it. Including Jogging, Push up's, Step aerobics and many more. It really is a good way of excerising because it is fun and you don't even know that you are excerising! ...I think that the wii fit game is really good. comes fully equit with the wii balance board, this fun and interactive game is really good to play on your own or with friends. Everyone can enjoy this and with a variety of different games(balance, muscle works outs, yoga- which i havent played on yet, and aerobics) this fun game can help you to get fit and have fun. I personally enjoy all the games and have unlocked them all. you can play with more than one player, but only on the running which is slightly disappointing, but other than that the sound and the graphics are both very satisfactory and i would say that this is a very worthwhile investment-especially if you have children.
