...can take quite a long time to get through an hours Wii Fit exercise because some of the talking by the trainer is repetitive and time consuming but the voices are pleasant and not irritating. It isn't directed I am sure at fitness fanatics who wouldn't find anything on there a challenge I am sure but it is great for people who want to make a start at getting fitter and it beats sitting in an armchair getting fatter and lazier in my book. It has certainly been worth the £69.99 I paid for it and I have even bought a carrying case so that I can take it with me when I am working away from home which is recommendation in itself....

Does it work? Am I now Fitter?

Advantages: It is a great way of getting varying types of physical exercise into your daily routine.
Disadvantages: It's not really a game in any traditional sense.

...healthier but the Wii Fit tracks and encourages the weight loss with the calender. One of the accusations that could be levelled at the Wii Fit is that it is gimmicky. It is a gimmick but it is one that works. The exercises themselves are fun enough to hold your attention for the repeat sessions that are going to be needed for any benefit to be had from a fitness program. I have used the Yoga section quite a bit since getting my hands on our Fit and I have to say that it is surprising how out tiring it can be standing still and breathing. Your virtual personal trainer is great and thanks to the balance board can tell if you are making a total pigs ear out of the exercise. A great way to get fitter

...I never used to be a fan of computer games until I first tried 'Brain Training' on the DS and then graduated to a Wii just over a year ago. I bought Wii Fit when it first came out and have been using it diligently (333 days now) ever since! In truth I haven't been fitter for years, I am not in the first flush of youth (the bus pass came last week!) but I am really feeling the benefits. You might wonder (given all the above) why I felt the need to buy more Wii software related to fitness? Well to be honest I think one of the big failings with Wii Fit is the lack of proper aerobic exercises. The second is that it can be quite slow to go through a workout as you are waiting for the 'trainer' quite a lot. Using Ikea Kitchen Fitters

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Everything is wrong with them

...I have had the worst kitchen fitting experience ever with Ikea. Forget all the issues about missing items, I could deal with that. Yes the kitchens are generally of a good build. No, the problem was that Ikea sub-contract it out to another company- in my case Core and Ore. Who then sub-contract it out to another person (who wanted to sub it out to someone else). Core and Ore do not actually do the fitting- they just push paper about. Then they charge an extorionate amount of money for the most simple of jobs. In my case the fitter they hired hated Core and Ore so much that he refused to do any work for them. So I was stranded for 4 days, with no kitchen and no fitter (I had already been waiting 6 week for fitting since ordering the kitchen at Ikea). Kwik Fit Fitters & Indians

Advantages: Cheap (so I was told)
Disadvantages: Fitters generally unhelpful (tho managers were ok)

...with the service thus far) and the fitter who actually did the exhaust was very nice and helpful, but generally, the attitude of all the staff was apalling, particularly towards my g/f, and we both agreed that we would rather pay a bit extra for a decent service than put up with these particular cowboys again....

...time I hear it. One of the best songs ever, easily. Other great songs include the wonderful Exit music (for a film), Karma police, No surprises and the divine Lucky. Although every song is brilliant, Fitter Happier is a puzzler. The 1984-esque dialogue is not really a song, more of a recording. Apart from that the album cannot be faulted. The songs are often about Thom Yorke’s personal ideals and experiences and Airbag and Lucky are about his morbid fear of car and plane crashes, indeed death itself. This album can seem quite claustrophobic at times but if you listen to it about 4 times then you will really begin to appreciate its brilliance. If you don’t, you probably just have bad taste in music. Don’t worry, it’s a common ailment and can be rectified by listening to the Bends or OK computer 15 times in a row...

.... And waited. About 8 weeks down the line we called the company, who apologised that we hadn?t been contacted previously, and were fixed up with an appointment a few weeks from then. On the appointed day, I waited in. And waited, and waited (this is a bit of an on going theme!). We called the company around lunchtime to see if the fitters were actually coming that day, and they were unable to contact them. So I waited some more! You can get better than a Kwik-Fit fitter!

Advantages: NONE I hate the company
Disadvantages: Expensive, slave labour

...through to Saturday which is 40 hours! and in them 40 hours I was working outdoors practically on the seafront in the north-east coast of England. On top of that I got persistantly bullied by my mentor, my manager and the other apprentice. The only reason I bought tyres etc. from Kwik-Fit while working there was because I got a 50% staff discount, yet I could have still got the tyres cheaper elsewhere, the tyres for my Pug 106 at Kwik-Fit are £80 yet from north-eastern tyres and exhausts they are only £35 for the same brand. Kwik-Fit fitters also cut corners to get a job done faster and fit dodgy tyres etc. just to get your money there and then. Have you ever seen a Kwik-Fit fitter use an air gun to take off and put on your wheel nuts, also do they check the torque settings and tyre pressures for your car, I don't think so, they generalise...
